Week 2: Denver Broncos (1-0) @ New York Giants (0-1)

Big one. Peyton vs Eli Regular Season Round 3. Cruz vs Welker. Giants need a win, and I think Eli knows the best way to stop Peyton. Expect the G-Men to be gunning for Peyton. This is the premier late game on Sunday on CBS.

What do you mean Eli knows the best way to stop Peyton?

Anyway only way we win is if we limit our own turnovers to something under 6. Otherwise, massacre. Im hoping for the massacre.

They're brothers, so I'm sure they competed against each other when they were kids, and that they still share secrets with each other.

Nah man it doesnt work like that. Being brothers has nothing to do with the defenses they will play against. Peyton is up against a cotton ball while Eli's inept offense is up against Denver.

I expect a much better game from us, but I don't know if it will be enough. That Bronco offense is scary.

I'm not sure how the Giants are an improvement over the Ravens. This game has the potential to get ugly fast.

Broncos should win this..Giants don't like playing in their own building. We will see.

I don't think it's as simple as saying it will get ugly just because the Baltimore game did....can never compare game to game.

giants need to find an answer in the running game or this is going to be a LONG LONG season. this game especially could get real ugly...they need to be able to move the ball on the ground at least a LITTLE bit to burn some clock and keep it out of peyton manning's hands.

if not peyton could go off for another 4+ touchdowns....

The Giants LBs are weak, right? I'm trying to figure out if Julius Thomas should start in fantasy football.

I'm going to start him in my leagues but I can't say one way or the other if he'll have the same fantasy impact he did last week.

I just love the matchup problems he's going to cause when coming into the game for opposing defenses. I think opponents will try and start to match him up with a safety or either a corner which is just good news for the rest of the receiving corpse even if he personally doesn't get success out of it.

Start him. I see JThomas having a big game. He is difficult to game plan for and creates problems for defenses as they have to pick their poison. I don't see the Giants' LBs being able to cover him.

I hope we're seeing the beginning of a young Antonio Gates in Julius Thomas.

I give the Giants enough respect to think that it could be a good game.If they don't get a constant pass rush, they'll have a tough time.I don't think they'll outscore us but they have a great receiving corps as well.

This game does worry me because the Giants are a good team and had a tough loss. The law of averages has a funny way of working out.Even though we'll be better than every team we play on paper, there's likely to be a few games that don't go our way.

The Giants winning the game wouldn't be a stunning upset. I just don't expect it to happen moreso because our offense is grossly inconsistent. Been that way for a long time.
