Started one with the Cavs. No major changes to the roster. Traded Alonzo Gee because I hate his player model and picked up Stephen Jackson from free agency. Don't know if I'll fully go thru with it. If so I may look to get LeBron in the off season.

Started one with the Lakers..So far unrealisticaly high scores..but realistic FG%...HOF/SIM.

I will be starting an association, and probably run it as a dynasty. I'm deciding between the Wizards, Bulls, Nets and Pacers.

I picked the celtics and did a complete makeover using (almost) only 2nd rounders and undrafted players from the past two years. I wanted a true underdog team. It's pretty fun and i've got one video up on my channel about them, but it probably won't turn into a series since editing videos is a bitch with my slow computer.

I'm planning to do one with fantasy draft as well to make a dunk squad. Or maybe i'll just use the nuggets since they have faried and mcgee who are two of the most athletic bigs. And they have a lot of tradeable players i can use to get other dunkers.

I feel like this thread in previous years was way more bumpin' than it has been this year. 6 posts and the games been out a month?

A lot more people holding off for next gen than I thought.

Anyway, I'll be going with my classic association once again this year. Replacing current teams with their throwback counterparts. Need to finish adding missing legends, update playbooks, coaching profiles, etc.

Will go back to 2k13 (Sellaz & Co rosters) if I can't find the right balance I'm looking for in 2k14.

Sacramento Kings is an interesting team to do an association with.

I traded Grievas Vasquez, Patrick Patterson, Ben McLemore, Chuck Hayes, Jimmer Fredette for Rajon Rondo, Gerald Wallace, Marshon Brooks, and Phil Presey

My lineup currently looks like this

Rajon Rondo
Marshon Brooks
Gerald Wallace
Carl Landry
DeMarcus "Boogey" Cousins

Any advice as to what I should do with this roster going forward?

Just waiting for rosters to get more accurate and hopefully STATS fixes the incompetence of the 2k insider with the ratings and tendencies. I typically like to hold of until 2k patches the game as it typically messes up franchise and you have to restart, even tho they tell ytou it will work with existing Associations it dont.

I personally would have kept Ben McLemore as he has all-star potential and would benefit with a PG like Rondo around but that is a good team going forward.

It may not be extremely realistic, but I find it fair. I plan on using my pick in the draft on a point guard in the draft whether it be Marcus Smart, Exum, or any of the other good PGs in the draft. My team is really focused on defense. With Oladipo, Butler, and Gibson, I should have no problem shutting down teams. My offense will struggle, but I hope to find some bench players that will contribute

I'm starting my association tonight but won't start playing it until tomorrow with the Golden State Warriors. I'm a big time Rockets fan but I can't play their style on the video game so for the last 4 nba 2k's I've played with GS.
