Why does Kevin Love suck?

I'm playing in and Online Association with 10 min quarters, All-Star difficulty and sim sliders. I'm using the T-Wolves and Love just absolutely blows. Now part of it, offensively, is because I don't feature him enough and don't know how to run plays well. But defensively and rebounding he just kind of stands around. Especially rebounding. Pekovic is my leading rebounder (6.8) and Love is only at (5.1) through 5 games. Offensive rebounds. Defensive rebounds. Doesn't matter. Love just looks totally disinterested in trying to grab them. Oh. And how the hell does he only have an A- rebounding rating? Lol

He really isn't a guy that can get his own shot. You have to just pick and pop with him and he will make tons of threes. Idk about the rebounding, I have been using him in an assoc and I honestly haven't had him grab a single offensive board. That is really messed up.

Ive played against the Wolves a few times now and K Love does suck. He usually goes 1-10 and barely any rebounds. K Martin normally does most of their scoring.

He doesn't suck, it's just 2K's rebound system that does, athletic players are way more favored than guys like Kevin Love or Reggie Evans.

^ This guy is exactly right. If a player has a high vertical jump rating his rebounding is much better.

I dont know, the ball just kind of flies into Reggie Evans hands sometimes. Sharp turns, through people, and he doesnt even have to jump. That dude gets boards in 2k14.

Not true. I keep telling people that you have to do the work to get the rebounds. you have to box out and time it right. I have no problem with rebounds so its you and others and what you arent doing

I'm not at my xbox so I can't check the ratings but maybe Evans has a noticeably higher Hustle rating than K-Love. I assume hustle ratings matter for rebounding.
