    Online: Bobcats Cheese?

I got cheesed by a Bobcats user last night. This guy was able to consistently make 3's with Ben Gordon and Michael Kidd Gilchrist. He was able to beat me up to court every single time to have the shooters wide open. I don't watch the cats often, but when did Kidd Gilchrist turn into Ray Allen? Ben Gordon has always been cheese since 2K9. This probably the lowest or the low. If you see this GT: 24 COLD BLOODED or something like that just back out. I kept it close with the Bucks then the game got laggy out of no where and I could make a damn thing in the 4th qtr.

I haven't seen Bobcats cheese but Ben Gordon has been an top tier shooter for some time but he is a guy that comes in that gets buckets like a Crawford. What is his three point rating? Now if Gilchrist is on from three it might just be a wrap lucky or momentum swings. He has no outside shot. What I notice at least short term if you leave an average or below average shooter they seem to make a few open than what I like early but later in the game they can't do it. I bet that Gilchrist shooting wouldn't happen on 12 minute quarters for long stretches

You can get bombed with any shooter 60+ this year if your opponent knows the release and is wide open. I play as the Bucks a lot and have had games where I've gone like 6-8 from three with Giannis Antetokoumpo, who is like a 61 3-pt shooter.

The Bobcats are especially conducive to this sort of strategy in 2K14 because you can put up a slew of threes and end up with extra possessions thanks to Big Al doing good work down low. It can be frustrating, but if you just get a defender close enough to breathe on MKG, he'll miss and Ben G has a really long release that is easy to block.

Lol I try to play as bobcats but it gets rough when it comes to defending anyone but they can score and get up and down the court in a hurry. I've never made a 3 with MKG though.

Sounds like you just got beat to me.
Tell your line to protect on this play. Heck, tell your line to protect on every play; not just here.

I played against a guy last year on 2k13 and his record was like 205-7 or something and it was ALL with the Bobcats. I somehow managed to beat him by 2 points lol...he scored like 60 points with Ben Gordon.

I just started playing online this year after playing like 3 games last year. So far in the first three games a guy shot 47 of 65 shots from 3 point land with the Knicks. I had a hand in his face for about 80% of them and it made little difference. By contrast, I shot 14 with the Blazers.

So is that cheese? I am trying to figure out what constitutes online cheese by board standards as I respect most of the talk I see here.

played a few bobcats online an surprising they are pretty tuff team with there line up. any team can be deadly if they know how to use the team an know there releases. im all blazers an i play vs all teams online, more than half the time your playing the player rather then playing the team. if your better you will win.

                      Online: Bobcats Cheese?

I just played them for the first time online, and my opponent quit on me at halftime. I almost take it as disrespect if someone uses the Bobcats on me unless I know they are a fan of them lol.

This guys game plan was just to give it to MKG and do 50 crossovers at the freethrow line before attempting a layup. EVERY SINGLE POSSESSION. I got like 8 blocks with Javale in the first half.

After he got down by quite a bit, he just started jacking 3's with Ben Gordon.

im probably in minority here I just think the whole timing release has worsened the game...especially with knicks or golden st...curry, Thompson, Carmelo and jr smith drill everything against any defense. don't know the status of nba live but I would consider it if it comes out

So you want to take control out of your hands on whether or not you make a shot? Just leave it completely up to the CPU to calculate your % chance of making it? That's definitely different.

                            I primarily use the Bobcats.

MKG cannot shoot, but I have hit a few accidental threes with him. (In the corner, opponent doubled, so I swing the ball to top and to the other side and then I immediately shot with an open MKG; but I honestly thought she I passed tuft Hendo, or Gordon was there; I was surprised it went it)

Last year the Bobcats were a "mid-range jump shoot you to death team." But this year with big Al and Zeller, they are more of a pound you inside.

When Gordon comes off the bench, you better believe I am running plays (floppys now, I hate they removed my baseline double) that get him open for 3 attempts. He is the only real threat off the second team, so he is taking my shots.

I am glad they bumped Henderson's 3 up, and I can't wait until the season starts and Zeller gets a bump to his shooting stats.

MKG is my garbage, slash, hustle role player.

I also use the Bobcats , ive only ever got one 3 pointer with MKG and i didnt even mean to shoot it, but seriously, all teams have cheese and some have more cheese then others while some are like a triple mcCheese with extra cheese, i really cant say that the guy you lost to deserves to be hounded on for his tactics, i mean the bobcats are a very hot n cold team, some times they shoot well some times they shoot terrible
