Played every inning of every game in my season [franchise]

No fast forwarding, no simulating. Played a few games twice do to lock up or real life reasons. All injuries were kept as they were. I'm now in the ALCS and my Mariners are gonna kick some Jay butt. We entered September down 5 games to LAA in division. Ended up winning the division with 95 wins. both LAA and Texas made it to playoffs.

Info on my team and settings:
Used custom simulation sliders from OS
    Used Knights full roster

Signed Brian Wilson and got John Danks mid season. Everyone else was in house.

    Starting 9 by september 1.
    Saunders, Michael
    Seager
    Morales
    Morse
    Smoak
    Montero
    Gutierrez
    Nick Franklin
    Ackley

    Pitching-
    Felix
    Iwakuma
    Danks
    Hultzen
    Saunders,Joe

Closer was Wilhelmsen setup by Capps and Wilson

MVP was Morales with 332, 48 HR, 160 RBIs [i think?] he was a homer away from triple crown.

Felix won Cy Young with 21-7 2.67ERA 210Ks

    Thanks for reading.

That's awesome! Wish I had the patience for that, as I've always though about going full season one year. But I always play 1, sim 1, so I can get two maybe three seasons in.

I wonder if anyone has ever played all 162 games, and all the games for their farm teams as well. You'd have to be a nut, but this is OS so I fully expect someone to have done it

That is awesome (and not meaning as a shot), but isn't that the only way to do it?

Through years of MLB The Show, I've had probably 5-7 seasons completed, and nothing was ever simulated. Kind of ruins the whole point, doesn't it?

All of the above, my man! Every year I say to myself that this is the year I'll play every inning of every game, but I never do.

Sometimes I fizzle out in June, sometimes I'll fizzle out in July. At some point, I always fizzle out.

Great job. I began playing every game of a 162 game schedule for the Mets, back in 2004 on MVP. I don't fast forward or simulate, until the Mets have been eliminated. I have kept all of my stats, award winners, top 5 in stats for 8 batting and 8 pitching categories, etc. The whole 9 yards. Since 2004, I won the World Series with the Mets in '05,'06','07 and '08. I have been playing the 2000 season with Knight's 2000 roster in my spare time (offseason) to pass the time away until the next Show comes out. It is kinda cool to go back and look at league leaders back then. I pitched my first no-hitter with Pedro Martinez in 2006, then Johan Santana in 2008, and Matt Harvey this year. I just wanted to share my experience, since I thought I was the only crazy one doing this.

Good stuff, I did the same a few years back (pre wife and kid), it's rewarding isn't it? Did your stats turn out realistic or did you have your "golden boys" with inflated stats? That was the only issue when I did it. Three hitters I was most comfortable with beasted and I had a few otherwise good hitters that I couldn't hit with for whatever reason that had excessively low stats. I had 60 plus hrs w Mark Reynolds and 50 plus w Upton and I was playing w OS sliders
