Rookie Values
 

What are the value of a lot of the rookie cards? Last night I saw a few guys up who I haven't seen in awhile and wasn't sure if the price was right. Here's what I think they are, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Man the rookie prices are so tough to judge. I think a lot of your values are pretty good. They are very, very tough to flip IMO and I buy them to keep them.

Their values are all over the place. I sold a Spiller for 30k and got a Chris Johnson for 10k one night.

I'm actually trying to get an all rookie team so if anyone has these cards, let me know.

Yeah your values look good but rarely ever do I see any that decently priced lol

Many of the higher rated ones are valued at whatever they're listed for, within reason.
Jarvis Jones or Jake Long are so rare, if you see one under 250k, it seems out of place.

Much of it depends on positional scarcity as well. QBs are worthless, RBs are a dime a dozen, etc.

Milliner, Haden and Rolle are oddities. Milliner was originally almost 200k. Then Haden and Rolle comes out and now none of them are worth half that. Milliner still sells for 99,999, but I'm guessing that's because of the Alabama contingent. Haden maybe for 80k and Rolle maybe for 90k, on the high end.

Fluker should sell for more, but 60k is about the top of its market.

Rookie Patrick Peterson sold well when he was the best Pat Pete, but now that it isn't, that card is down to 300k.

Morgan and Vernon Davis are tricky. If both were correctly rated on the card, their prices would be astronomical.

Morgan, at 97 ovr, would be a 300k card, if not more because of the scarcity.
Davis, at 96 ovr, would be the top TE and probably a solid 200k.
As it is Morgan sells for less and 200k and Davis for less than 125k.

Laron Landry sells for a solid 20k. I've flipped several for that. You'll often see it listed for 10k. If so buy and flip. Though me saying that publically might end my Landry business.

Only thing that confuses me is Fluker's value. He's a 93 Tackle yet he's 60k. Williams is a 93 Tackle yet he's 15k or so. What is the difference? I get that they are listed as opposite sides, but you can play tackles on either sides without taking an AWR hit.
