Week 9 TNF: Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) @ Miami Dolphins (3-4)

The "Red Rocket" Andy Dalton coming fresh off a 5 TD passing performance against the Jets, takes his talents to South Beach for a Thursday Night game against the Dolphins. Who after an impressive 3-0 start, have floundered losing 4 straight.

Bengals are a team that are just starting to click. They have a fierce pass rushing D-line that is among the leagues best, and although they are banged up on the back end the pressure they are able to get makes things easier on their DBs. The Offense has become more balanced, as teams really fear WR AJ Green, and are focusing on him but now Dalton is spreading the ball around to his other targets. (Marvin Jones 4 Touchdown day last week)

Dolphins on the other hand have looked dysfunctional ever since a Week 4 Monday Night beat down they suffered in New Orleans. They've been in their games and kept them close, but have just suffered a rash of costly mistakes in the 4th quarters which ended up costing them the games. (Fumble vs. Buffalo, Interception and Penalties vs. New England)

To the Dolphins credit they looked very strong for 3 quarters in New England, until an Interception, and costly (controversial penalties?) Did them in. Tannehill is the most sacked QB in the league with the Dolphins giving up 32 sacks thus far. Starting Right Tackle Wayne Martin has left the team to seek counseling, after a taunting incident in the Miami clubhouse.

    Any thoughts on this one?

Man Cam Wake is probably the best in the league at bending that corner, and quickly swiping the Football right out of the QBs grip, right when he's about to release.

Miami can't capitalize, Sturgis misses a 34 yarder.

Guess I'm the only poor soul watching this lol?

Pretty ugly first half for Cincy. Geno Atkins carted off with what looked to be a pretty serious knee injury. Hopefully it's not season ending, but definitely a huge loss.

Dolphins have been gashing the Bengals with the running game with both LaMar Miller, and Daniel Thomas however.. they are only up 7-3 because of a costly Miller fumble right after a huge run.

I hated that the Dolphins decided to run into a brick wall three times to end the half and elect to give it back to the Bengals with time.

I get playing safe, I'm not even suggesting going for a score, but throw the ball once to try and get the first and send it to the half.

Dalton with a poor decision throwing late outside, picked off with :28 seconds left in the half. Dolphins in prime position to at least move into Field goal range.

but with Sturgis missing his last 5 of 6 maybe they ought to push for the TD.

These games seem to be very defensive orientated. I'm pulling for Miami to win just to make the AFC East look better.

Gio Bernard with some crazy moves on a long cut back run, where he should have been down 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

                  17-17 in the 4th now.

Wow, the second terrible call against Miami, both killing first downs. Refs have money on the game?

The Bengals had a touchdown nullified by a terrible call. I agree that was an awful call though.

That whole last drive was a result of throwing on third down. Miami kept their last timeout. That sack would have eaten up a ton of time.
