Weird Penalty Called??

Last night I started the playoffs in my BEAGM. So mid way thru the 2nd period a penalty is called on one of my CPU AI players. It was Shawn Thornton. The call.... 5 min major and game misconduct for..... wait for it....

INTERFERENCE????

HUH???

I watched the replay about 10 times from different angles and yes I saw a penalty. In one replay I thought maybe I say contact with the head...

weird or what??

Has anyone else seen or had one of these crazy penalties before?

Serious? You would only get a 5 and a game if there was an injury on the play, in real life anyways, I have no idea if it applies to interference.

Not only is that nuts but please tell me your slider settings for penalties? I have YET to get a single interference call for or against, and you get this?

The penalty engine is horrid, I am tired of my open players being checked down, tripped up or interfered with when another player still has the puck.

LOL I noticed this post after last night when I was playing, I'm about 9 yrs into my bagm and I play as The B's too. I was using Jason Pominville in OT I went for a poke check and got a tripping, I got a 2 minute AND THEN "BOOM" I see that animation of the ref signaling the Misconduct and Pominville flipping out going back into the dressing room. lol

I literally yelled "What the flying ****!" that my gf 2 rooms away woke up from sleeping XD

I have been testing alot of sliders, tried yours, I cant get many calls still at all... I still have yet to see, get, or receive an Interference call, boarding, check from behind, ect.

I upped aggression and CPU difficulty a bit, and the CPU is way harder to play against, but I am drawing some slashing and tripping calls more now. Not a big trade off.

The more I play this game the more I think the penalties that are called are based somehow on STYLE of PLAY or TEAM AI. I have played the same TEAM AI for 3 years and my penalty calls vary from game to game.. I don't see all these other weird things people are saying about having to reload the setting and such... I never check that and mine never change. Check your AI settings and when I get home if I can remember I will post my TEAM AI for you to try to see if that works.

Some! I matched and I believe I still have kept your fighting, penalties, and aggression, I read somewhere that the CPU aggression in hitting has to be up for them to take a few more penalties. We differ in game styles in terms of speed, I am all high speed in the game, defense is sound but my forwards are all GO so my speed setting is 1 from maxed.
I also turned down Attribute effects and noticed a more realistic game. Now players like Scott ant out skate players like Kessel, and Gerbe cant send Chara into the corner like a ragdoll with a big hit, it brings everyone back down to normal and Im all for that.

I am getting a few tripping penalties here and there, the odd slashing one, and sometimes the CPU locks my player against the boards too long and gets a holding call. Otherwise, thats it, I get no other calls. Blatant interference go uncalled, knee on knee trips, ect.

Someone said to edit all players discipline, but ya right, no way am I spending all that time.

I dont know how you get all your extra calls, you draw them in game play right, not simming?
