YES! Winter 2014 for PS3! Easily my favorite JRPG series.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (3DS)
    - P3/P4 chibi spinoff.
    - Persona Q is directed by Daisuke Kaneda. The EO4 director. It's focused on dungeon crawling and has EO style battles.
    - Official Site: http://p-atlus.jp/pq/

Persona 4: Dancing All Night (PS Vita)

    - Developed by Dingo (Miku PSP games, Lovelive Vita)
    - Official Site: http://p-atlus.jp/p4d/
    - Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5BIRWiifo8
    - Rhythm game (Looks to be a Rise simulator)

So I'm guessing Persona 5 in 2015 for the West?

Yeah, early 2015 probably. Atlus did a pretty good job getting P4 out within a couple of months of release in Japan, if I remember correctly.

Man....this is going to make it impossible for me to get rid of the PS3 until P5 comes west (and I have no doubt that it will eventually)

        Y U NO play PS3 games, PS4?

After reading a bit, I didn't realize P4 came out well after the PS3 did....I guess this is par for the course with Atlus. I didn't really get into the series myself until P3 FES came to the PS Store.

Loved P4, hopefully this will be good as well. Ps3s should be dirt cheap by then as well and will probably pick it up again to play this.

So hyped. Persona Q better get a western release. Purchasing a PS3 was always on my to do list but Persona 5 is definitely an even greater incentive to get one.

This is ATLUS, you don't have to worry about their games getting a western release. Hell they are probably the best at localizing their games in a decent time frame of weeks to a few months depending on game scope. Unlike the fools at bamco who take 2 years to localize their rpgs.

That's no longer a guarantee with SEGA being their parent company now. Nintendo has been working with Japanese third-parties to bring their games over though.

                ...

Persona 5 has a high school setting, but different atmosphere

This week’s Dengeki PlayStation has first details on the Sunday-announced Persona 5.

The chairs and chains shown in the announcement teaser are located at a senior high school, according to the magazine. These make up the theme of Persona 5.

It’s described as an RPG that contains a message like a cathartic yell to overcome trials and break free from your chains.

The game will continue to adapt the series’ juvenile high school setting, but the atmosphere will be completely different.

Atlus promises the game will offer a sense of realism, including life-sized characters and a story built from a new world and values.

ATLUS USA is still in tact, so it's still a guarantee. They are likely already working on the localization for these games.

Sega hasn't changed the way the company operated in any way and plans to let them keep their independence. Unless ATLUS USA closes its doors you can plan on fast localization for all of their major IPs.

Yup, this. I feel like Persona 5 has a high chance of a western release but Persona Q? Who knows. I need a Persona game for my 3DS though so I'm hoping it happens.

There's a few things I can take from that because of some interesting dates. The time period shown in P3's style is from a 3-day stretch when a typhoon hits Iwatodai in that game. The MC is incapacitated at that time due to illness as well, so the game skips right over those days. With a little selective amnesia, damn near anything could have happened to the P3 crew at that time.

The P4 dates are, as you can probably guess, during the game's culture festival that you can clearly see the P3 gang thrown into in the video. These aren't exactly playable dates either, although the cast does a lot of things over those 3 days and there's a bunch of cutscenes.

Obviously there's a fair bit of time-screw that's going to have to happen to make this work (the games are set two years apart). And this cannot take place "after" P3 because -

                        MEGA P3 SPOILERS
                        Spoiler

Then again, maybe I'm thinking entirely too hard about if/how a chibi-fied persona game would fit into canon. It just doesn't seem like they'd highlight those dates for nothing, though.

Yeah you might be overthinking this whole Shadow of the Labyrinth scenario. This could just as easily not mean anything in the grand scheme of things, just an excuse to give fans a crossover game.

Persona 5 will be out in 2015 for PS3—yes, PS3!—as will a Vita spinoff called Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Both the dungeon-crawler Persona Q (3DS) and the fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3/Xbox 360) will be out this fall.
