Changing Stadium Names
I just got FIFA 14 for the 360, and now I am 1/2 done with updating the Stadium names for certain leagues (this year I may do everyone except International). Does anyone else do this? LOL. Happy Holidays to everyone as well!Make it happen.Tags: None -
Re: Changing Stadium Names
I do. I will edit every stadium for all the teams in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two before starting my CM. I just think it's more fun to play and see the real stadium names. I also give some teams a different stadium from their default one as I don't always agree with EA, and also for the sake of variety. It takes a little while, of course, but it's worth it.Last edited by Entiae; 11-30-2013, 05:00 PM. -
Re: Changing Stadium Names
I actually spent a morning doing this exact thing. I used a combination of wikipedia and other sites to scower through all of the stadium names.
Once finished, I made sure to save four copies of the file to ensure I don't lose it.
So you're not the only one, it definitely helps immersion even if it is still just a generic stadiumComment

Re: Changing Stadium Names
I did this on FIFA 13. Named every stadium from all leagues. Took me nearly 2 days lol.Comment

Re: Changing Stadium Names
Hah, I'm with you on that one. I'm a massive perfectionist and like to play the game realistically. I get some kind of perverse pleasure out of going through every team in every league and giving their stadiums the correct name and appearance.
The list linked to above is fantastic, but I can't help cross checking some of them with Wikipedia, Transfermarkt or Google Images if I doubt a name or stadium assignment for whatever reason.
I'll usually spend a good day or two going through them all, and that's after another good few days of editing the squads. Somehow I find what many others wouldn't even consider doing pretty fun. Nothing like going into a career knowing everything is just right.Comment

Re: Changing Stadium Names
I second this! I used that list to get mine done myself, and just a heads-up; if you guys do any roster updates, sometimes it sets the stadium names back to default. I found myself creating 2 roster files just in case so I had a backup, as doing the update will overwrite your roster save. It hasn't done it to me the last few times EA has poted a update, but losing all that work is freaking infuriating!Comment
