I downloaded some rosters from madden share, that had the Canton Great players within the roster including Brett Favre, how is this possible?

The base roster was probably a pre-release roster, which had Canton Greats from what I understand. They also could have been exported from a pre-release roster using a roster editor and imported into a newer roster, or created players that were edited. -
