Hot route menu/playart

I recently started playing NCAA 14 on PS3 after taking a hiatus to finish school. One thing that I have noticed is whenever I call a hot route, there is no menu telling me which hot routes are available. All I get on the screen is an option that says choose play or cancel. Also, when I hold the R2 button to show my playart, most of the time there is no playart. It's not scrambled, it's just not there. I am using a custom offensive playbook. Is that the issue? Is there a setting that I accidentally turned off? I've tried changing settings, but I can't seem to find a way to bring back these features. Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you press R3 to show everything? I know when you press it, it turns it on or off.

The hot route menu can be turned on or off, hidden I think is what it is called on the game. A picture can be seen below and if you look right above the ESPN symbol you will see RS Hide Menu. I would assume it would also be RS on the PS3, but I can't confirm cause I play on Xbox




Now as far as the playart goes, that one I am not sure on. I know while holding down the play art button, you can move the right stick in different directions to bluff you actual play, but the playart is still shown. I am not sure if there is a way to turn off playart completely. I would be interested to know this as well.

Thanks guys, I did not see the option to hide the hot route menu. This should help me enjoy this game, instead of blindly calling hot routes

I know the playart doesn't automatically come up when you're playing online or against someone in play now. If you want it to come up on ps3, hold down R2 and push the right analog stick up.
