I have the video clips of the entire game.

I was in the "Zone" and everything was perfect.

    Anyone else experienced this?

User accuracy above 5 will always be too accurate IMO.

What I have found, though haven't done extensive testing, is that it appears accuracy is effected mostly when you try to place your passes using the "precision pass" (left analog stick). This inaccuracy is increased the lower you set your QB Accuracy slider...A setting of "0" is the only truly inaccurate pass setting, and I wonder if that is maybe because the coding has issues with processing zeros???

If you set your accuracy slider at "1" for example, and use the precision passing, you will make a lot of bad passes, but if you do not use the precision pass, you will do fine; granted - This is based on a limited amount of time, about 7 hours of playing with sliders on my own against CPU.

Addition - IMO the best way to effect CPU accuracy is to work at creating a better pass rush to pressure the QB, either by technique, or by adjusting the "pass blocking" slider down so you have more pressure from your base defenses...

            Thanks Guys!!

I play Offense as the Home Team and Simulate All of my Defensive Plays.

QB Accuracy for Cpu does not affect me.

HOWEVER -- What should I set My Human QB Accuracy too?

Will a slider of 5 Kill the Deep Pass and would Stafford have a Wimpy, Noodle Arm?

            I play on All-Pro.

            I appreciate your Learned Help.

I am still trying different slider settings and do not have a conclusion on how the deep ball is effected just yet; I have been focusing on getting defenders to play the zone defense well, in line with a solid pass rush so that defenders are not forced to cover too long...

I am seeing the CPU throwing fewer deeper passes as defenders pass coverage is increased, or the QB accuracy is decreased...As a player I do not throw many deep balls, but on the few I have thrown have been on target IMO...I have my user pass accuracy at 26 right now..For user accuracy it seems it is fine as long as you do not try to use the precision pass ability...

that's what I play with, Andrew luck is completing about 65% of his passes through 2 games.

Madden is definitely Casual friendly if you have to set your slider to 5 for a Simulation experience!

There isn't a sports game out there that I don't fiddle with sliders till the "sim" experience I want.

That's been true for more than a decade with me.

I believe QB Accuracy in itself isn't going to affect passer accuracy that much...Need to consider "Pass Coverage," "Pass Reaction Time" and "Interception sliders." Pass Rush will effect QB Accuracy by allowing greater pressure on the QB...

"Pass Coverage" I believe, should be set higher than QB accuracy in the sliders and other pass offense sliders, to create better coverage in relation the offenses abilities.

"Pass Reaction Time" slider affects how fast a defender breaks on the ball once it is thrown. This slider should be higher than the offensive passing sliders. Interceptions should be lower in relation to "Pass Reaction Time" to increase passes defensed while keeping actual interception levels fair. (this should help reduce QB completion percentage).

I am trying to find a sweet spot, I know that if I have CPU QB Accuracy at 50 and USER "Pass Reaction Time" at 98, the defenders jump routes very well; so maybe try setting "Pass Reaction Time" at 45 points above "QB Accuracy" to start and see how that works and then adjust these two sliders as needed.

I suspect that "Pass Coverage" affects where a QB will throw; higher "pass coverage" and the QB will go for shorter passes more often, and vice-versa. So it is a balancing act to get "pass block," and "pass cover" balanced to get solid M2M and zone coverage while applying base pass pressure on the QB so he doesn't have all day to wait for the open route...

"Pass Cover" seems to affect M2M and Zone skills, and considering the sub-par pass defense in relation to the offense, pass coverage should be higher in general than pass offensive sliders like "QB Accuracy" and "WR Catch."

I believe "WR Catch" affect not only the catching attributes but also the Route Running attribute, as a good route means a better chance to catch the ball...

Here are 2 links which explain DB ratings and WR ratings in Madden 25.

Hope my explanations made some sense, at least to the degree that my beliefs on this issue was made clear...

EDIT: In regards to "QB Accuracy" and "Reaction Time," If you have "QB Accuracy" at 25, for example, which is at an all-madden level for that single slider, and then have "Reaction Time" at about 76 which is rookie level for that single slider level, your pass reaction will be much greater in relation to the offensive passing ability.

EA released an article, earlier in the season, that explained the main QB ratings; following is a link to an article that critiques the ratings and attempts to shed light on just what the ratings mean in game from a functional standpoint.

Recently EA Sports published their “Science of QB Ratings in Madden 25.” Many of their points were insightful into how the game is constructed. However, their post does not show how those ratings can be used by you, the player, in a player vs. player (PvP) game. AWARENESS (AWR) Almost every gameplay consideration listed under […]

Do you use the Left-Stick to Precision Pass ?

I think itreally screws up the deep ball if you use the Left-Stick.
