Two Players in MyGm?

Hey guys!
Yesterday I bought NBA 2k for PS4. After the game was installed I played the MyGM mode with a friend. When the game started I had the option to "Choose Sides" and so we could play together in one team. But after switching the PS4 off, we couldn't this option anymore.
Is it still possible to play this mode with two players?

You can no longer play with a buddy in MyGM mode, they patched out the option. The only way you can play with your friend is to play a season.

The reason you could play before is because when you logged on their servers were probably down so it didn't patch the game. They took out a lot of features that were there at launch, this being one.

I want to just buy this game, and disconnect my wifi when ever I play this game, so it can never patch. That is the game that the reviewers reviewed and that is the game I want to play.
