We can't create players?!?
 

Please tell me I'm missing something! We can't create players in the game?!? Oh, yeah I just got the game. Please tell me this feature wasn't taken out for us to create just one player.

The only way really to create you a player would be to create a draft class and add him into that, that would be the only way other than your MYCAREER guy

Nope you can't, instead more time was spent working on the "amazing" story mode and cutscenes for my player lol.

I can't see how something that has been a part of gaming and sports gaming in general is missing from the game. This kind if shows the importance of the Create A Player to NBA 2K! The Create A Player feature had it's own community.
They had Create A Player Mode in every version of NBA 2K until now. The create MyPlayer isn't that great either. You can edit many of the body features like eyes color, lips,etc! I feel like I got a brand new car but can't change the interior to my liking.
