I knew the Shot Clock Cheese was coming so I go over to help. Notice I don't even use the double team button I just go and put my hands up and get called for a blocking foul which results in an And one lmao.

This was probably the most epic thing I've seen in a 2k game. I honestly had to laugh when I saw this because right then and there I realized you can't actually play defense on HOF. It's up to the CPU to decide whether or not they want to miss.

I'm tired of raging over the awful Hall Of Fame AI. Like at this point I'm just playing the game to see the creative ways that the HOF CPU can piss me off.

2k is horrible on and offline. When I win games I'm like, "I don't feel like I had anything to do with that win." When I loose games I'm like, "I don't feel like I had anything to do with that loss." I play Madden and take a L, and I can point out all the mistakes I made in the game. Madden gets a bad rap because of lack of innovation, but there is never a moment in Madden where I don't feel like I'm in control. I never feel like I'm in control in 2k.

True. All difficulty level does is roid out the other team's stats and nerf yours.

I get the sense that people want to play on HOF to prove their video-game manhood or something. It's an obvious cpu-cheat mode. Unless you go in with the mindset that you're playing Kid Icarus with one life and no checkpoints, don't even try it.

The problem is that people are searching for a game set-up where attributes matter and the game plays competitively but where your skill still will determine the outcome. Haven't found that yet, and I don't have the time to constantly lab-test, but I get the sense that tendencies sliders will have more of an impact on the cpu playing a satisfactory game of bball than difficulty level.

You're playing on Hall Of Fame, it's purposely designed to play like this. It's like eating ****, knowing it's ****, but for some reason continuing to eat the **** after you find out what it is.

I am going to hazard a guess and say the reason they keep playing HoF is because in mycareer you get more VC for playing HoF compared to other difficulty levels. 2k has made this game SO VC reliant that you need to get as much VC from every game that you can.

I don't understand why someone can't post their frustrations with video proof without getting their heads bitten off...

That's not happening. The counterpoint to the complaint is that, YES, it indeed IS a controller-throwing-level cpu cheat-fest on HOF difficulty. So either know that going in, or don't play at that difficulty level if the cheating bothers you.

Personally, I would rather walk barefoot on broken glass than endure the bend-over that HOF doles out. Don't understand why people even go there...
