Official Mycareer Starring Asterisk Glitch

i know this glitch is becoming more and more common...i havent had a problem for a month and a half and now this crap...everytime i load up mycareer it says starring asterisk the ce error pops up and the game closes...it even does the same thing when i open up my gm saves...any comments or suggestions put in here

I had the same problem, I just kept retrying until I got in. I haven't played it today, maybe their servers are down at the moment.

Whatever you do, do not play offline, which is the only way to make them disappear until the servers are back up on your side. If you do, you will convert the vc system from coins to points.. Making your file basically purposeless.

i backed up my files and deleted the nba 2k14 app...i loaded the game up and it atarted installing the game from the main menu with only quick game available. now i exited the game it says theres an update file downloading...but when i was there all my saves slots are gone...even tho the companion app still has my 95 overall small forward as my active my player....this is overly confusing and if those files are gone( despite being on my ps4 system storage, my usb drive and my online storage im done with this game

So far this has worked for me every time I've tried it on the X1.

If you get the * glitch
1. go back to the dashboard,
2. make sure the NBA2k14 has been completely quit out of,
3. sign out of your profile,
4. start up NBA2k14(let intro clip play out)
5. hit guide button and sign in
6. load myplayer

So far this has worked for me every time I've tried it on the X1.

If you get the * glitch

On PS4 you have to use a profile even if it's just "guest" to start the game...I've tried everything except reinstalling the game, if they don't fix this soon I'm done with 2K.

I'm about to take some scissors to my disc and unleash some Chinese throwing star action at Ronnie's face. Haven't been able to pay MyPlayer or myGM for 5 days now. And I paid money for this? What a joke. Wake up 2k, its not like your employees are making a baseball game.

The worst is how ronnie2k and ld2k are showing off how they are able to play in the park while we cant even start up the *** **** mode! No one has found a way around this yet?!

My 80+ PF was doing the * thing. I go to manage and see that I have a 69 PG file, I delete that because I don't have a friggin 69 PG, now I don't even get the * for my 80+ PF (WHO I haven't bought any VC for). It takes me directly to making a new MyPlayer....I'm upset I spent 2 months building my guy and then this happens. smh

In theory, with an offline MyCareer, should I be protected from the ******** glitch? My online one is glitched.

Doesn't look like there is any problems or should be offline but you can't ever use it online which sucks

Here's an Xbox One 'temporary workaround' if you want to play MyCareer/MyGM without deleting your corrupt saves in hopes of 2k fixing these X1 issues.
