Simulated Defense is too good
I just started a dynasty as the OC for Akron. One thing I noticed is that the simulated defense seems way too good. For example, week 1 they surrendered just 24 points to UCF (7 of those from a pick 6 I threw). Week 2 the FCS school was being blanketed until 2nd stringers were put in (And Akron is only 2 OVR points better than the FCS team I played). Is there any way to make the simulated defense worse? Will any sliders effect super sim?Football: Denver Broncos

Re: Simulated Defense is too good
How!? Every time as an OC my defense gives up like 40 points a game. And that's with better teams than Akron. Only thing I can think of that seems to kind of stop their offense is if you go with conservative playing style.NCAA-Ohio State

Ride it out and see once you start playing better teams. Sometimes sim D can be shutdown and other times it cannot stop a nose bleed.I just started a dynasty as the OC for Akron. Re: Simulated Defense is too good
Actually after rereading I can understand. UCF doesn't really have a good team with the in game rosters and FCS teams almost never score. So I agree with Canes

Re: Simulated Defense is too good
In my experience the defence played better when I played with them. When I would simulate the defensive plays, they would get burnt through the air. The offense would average 10-20 yards a pass play.It would be ridiculous sometimes.Comment

Re: Simulated Defense is too good
I've noticed that the sim D is way better at the non-BCS conference level. When I was at UMass and Tulsa, my sim D was way better than it was at Rutgers. I would move up ASAP.Comment

Re: Simulated Defense is too good
At about week 8 they're giving up about 27 points a game, which is mediocre at best, but I have either the #1 or #2 run defense in the nationFootball: Denver Broncos

Re: Simulated Defense is too good
Is your offense putting up a lot of points? In some of my dynasties my team is ranked really high in run defense because of my offense putting up points, forcing the cpu to abandoned the run to try and catch up. Another reason could be because of the types of offenses in the conference. I once had a mediocre secondary but was top 20 in pass D since the majority of the conference was a run first offense.Comment

Not at all. We're about 85th in the nation in points scored, so I'm already on the hot seatIs your offense putting up a lot of points?
