    MyTeam Collection 2k15+

Does anyone know (or can speculate) what happens to your MyTeam collection in future versions of the game? I'm assuming that none of the 2k14 cards will carry over to 2k15. But this is my first 2k game since NCAA way back whenever. I thought maybe some of you that have played more recent versions might have a better idea what's likely to happen.

rewarding past customers is a no-brainer, they should definitely offer something that carries over.

I was considering this last night as I bought a pack, I really think they should allow you to carry over some, like give you an opportunity to carry over 10 cards or something, or carry over reward cards.

It would be nice if they allowed you to transfer but knowing 2K they would just be greedy and make us buy players all over again

You will have to start all over. From 2k13 to 2k14 they did absolutely nothing to reward past customers.

This is certainly wishful thinking. I would like it if they did it, but the 2k franchise have just become gigantic money whores.

Hopefully you get like a VC reward for amount of cards collected + record + current seed. In NHL you get beetween 30,000-80,000 if you play regularly.

That's why it's stupid to spend money on this mode.. Nothing carries over..

I just hope they make the mode deeper next year..

                  Amen to both those sentiments.

Personally, I'd like a MyTEAM "season" mode, especially an offline season. Maybe something like MyGM but with MyTEAM.

Plus I'd like persistent stats. Now that I've played probably 100 games of MyTEAM, I'm curious who my top scorers are, etc.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. It's nice to have that firmly in mind before perusing the packs and thinking, "ah, what the heck!" and buying some crap pack that you only got because you were bored. I've saved up a bit of MT/VC, but I want to be strong and hold out for packs that I really want.

Not to go too off-topic, but this trend of in-game purchases is getting crazy. You pay $60 for the game and then $0-$100s more on the same game. It's a crafty business model for the company and I certainly don't begrudge how anyone wants to spend their money. I've really been trying to balance cost-value with this stuff. In this game, since I generally prefer playing with my bronze team, getting the gold players is more for the collecting aspect. So if I can't keep them into the next version(s), then personally, it's definitely not value-added to spend any extra money.
