10-day Contracts

Is it just me or does anybody else have problems signing players to 10-day contracts? Is it just impossible?

They do exist, the option is there when you go to the free agent pool and want to determine the length of their contract. But when you go to 10-day it won't go to the next screen telling you if they accept the deal.

I believe its broken. I tried to sign a player to the 10 day contract and the exact same thing happened to me.

How far along are you? Try simulating to Jan 6 on the schedule and then try. That's when the 10 day sign period starts in the real league.

10-day contracts are included in the game, and just like in real life you have to wait until January 6th, that is the date that teams are allowed to sign players to 10-day contracts. You may sign a player to maxiumum two 10-day contracts which at the end of the second 10-day contract you must decide to sign him for the remainder of the season or release him and put him on waivers.

I tried signing players on a 10-day contract beginning Jan. 6th but it still won't work. I'm assuming it's broken in the game

Thats kinda odd, because I'm able to sign players to 10-day contracts. Not sure what to tell you, but the 10-day contracts are a part of the game this year and they have been for awhile now.

Is there like any specific overall ratings of players to be signed a 10-day contract?

I did a lil testing and it seems players rated 61 and lower were only willing to take 10 day contracts

I tried with about 20 different players in free agency (I'm in year 15 of my association) down to the low 70s and high 60s before I quit, none of them would accept.

Maybe they have to be really terrible players to accept it?

So i decided to revive this thread because i just cannot get them to work. The option is there but i will press start or a to accept it and it just sits there like nothing happens....

I've still had no success with 10-day contracts, at any point in the season. I think 2K should look into fixing this for the future.

I use them all the time. I've had players that sign and others that aren't interested in it.
