So I probably made around 20k or so as I go back and sell of some collectibles, etc. Wouldn't say the packs are on fire but then again they never are, at least for me.

I wouldn't buy packs personally unless your gunning for a limited edition card. Almost any card can be purchased from the auction house at a cheap price. It's still fun pulling packs though

I do it occasionally, this time was just for profit. Sometimes you can make a bit of coins.

Because pulling an epic Bo is rather common right ? I was speaking in general. We all know it's a toss up on packs. Sometimes you hit big and others it's a miss.

I guess, to me, one of the best parts of the game is opening packs. I really enjoy hitting a big one unexpectedly. I've purchased very little of my team --- mainly only my OL ---and have pulled everything else through packs or challenges. LL Hearst, LL Jones (LOLB), CV Tebow, CV Fitz, LL White, Elite Lewis, CV Orakpo, Elite Hampton, Elite Clark....I just prefer to build through packs and experience the rush that comes with hitting a big one in a pack.

I wish I could get motivated to track my packs and track how much I make on them. Then you could get an idea of how many packs it takes to break even or make a profit. And the odds of pulling an elite or higher player.

I agree I love buying packs. It's a huge rush making that big pull from a pack and then there's the lows when you spend 100k on packs and get nothing. It's just like an online casino lol

Id have to agree with you on that. Auction has been slow so what better way to try and get players than packs. Highs n lows but its a risk n thats a rush of fun

I'll never forget ripping packs and pulling guys like elite pat Pete and elite Berry at the height of their value. Taking pics of my packs etc. great times !!

Haha yeah. I pulled Pat Pete when he was going for 1.5 million. I sold him for 70 bucks.

I guess I never realized that people paid so much money for things in this game.

Maybe I should quit my day job and just start mining coins and players on UT.

Lol the last time I got bored I pulled about 200k in packs and actually came out ahead cause I pulled elite Deion and cover Rickey Williams.

I guarantee most people would come out positive on packs in the long run. It's just that it's so frustrating when you hit a dry spell and lose all of your coins. Coin regret is something else. Last week, I was debating buying Rookie Patrick Peterson for 65k. Instead, I spent my last 75k on packs, and didn't get a whole lot. Man I wish I jumped on the Peterson. At least I was able to sell a ton of reserves and get back up there in coins. I didn't realize how many collection silvers I had sitting there from my pack pulling during the release of Deion, Barry, and Randy Moss. I guarantee I've gone positive on packs though.

I guarantee there is more but I can't think of any more.
That up there alone is 2.4 million or so coins, no way I've spent that many coins on packs.

I definitely didnt come out ahead last night, bought 60k worth, only got 2 team collection players, a gold havili who was the highest rated card I pulled at 91 and a 85 gold sheldon richardson... I've never seen so many high 80's rated players from small schools in 1 place. Good news is if they do go with UGA , PSU or Clemson for the next team collection I should be able to make some coin of the silvers...

That's what pretty much everyone is thinking right now, so the market is going to be flooded with those cards. Look at what happened when the Auburn collection came out, you couldn't make anything off of most of those cards because everyone had been saving them up.
