Which Show is truly better?

12 or 13. I can get both, but rather focus on just one until 14 comes out for ps4.

13 is probably most like 14.
But obviously 14 will have features that neither 12 or 13 have.

I preferred 12 but mainly due to rosters but 13 feels better overall

The Show is the one franchise I feel comfortable with pre-ordering the day the last version comes out knowing the next will be even better. Higher number = better game for The Show IMO, I can't think of any version I bought where I wanted to go back to the last, and this is going back to 06 The Show.

I think 13 is better just because the ball physics are better. It's nice not having a triple cut down because the ball is too bouncy.

Others will say 12 is better because it's harder to hit. But I like 13 better because it's easier to hit.

13 IMO is better. The ball physics seem so much better and so does the hit variety. I never saw a blooper in 12 and I have seen plenty in 13.

As fantastic as 12 is and the plethora of classic rosters......13 is the best baseball game ever made....and yes the best sports game ever made.

Refined in so many ways....but most importantly with its life like ball physics.

So despite a couple warts ( every single sports game comes with some warts) in the slow down rounding bases for some runners (it is not a huge problem if you time your selection of the next base, and great base runners still get home in time) and some regression issues with older players, the game is a masterpiece.

I found it hard to go back to '12 after playing '13 because of how much better the presentation was in '13...

but other than presentation, I think I prefer '12 to '13. for a variety of reasons, most of them relating to gameplay.

I'm not sure I'd go back to 12, even if it was considered a better game. So much of what makes the "new" sports games of that year are the updates that have nothing to do with gameplay or features. The stadium changes, uniforms, player models, batting stances, player portraits, etc. Not to mention the roster community that moves onto the next game.

Even if MLB 14 is considered a step back for the series, I'd still stick with it due to these factors.

Some people prefer 12 here, but 13's ball physics, hitting/fielding/baserunning responsiveness, and HUD display options make it immediately better than 12 for me.

'13 hands down.... it's been mentioned but because of the gameplay and ball physics of '13, I could not imagine going back to another years game.

Ball physics and hit variety are better in 13 than any previous game. Some but not all graphics are a bit better too.

The hitting in 12 while a little hard is the best for me. Take away the pickoff at first bug and the inordinately high chopped fouls around the plate and to me 12 is the best game.

I love 13 but the crazy animations around first on pickoffs drives me crazy.

Really 11-13 are incredible sports games and if I got stuck playing any of them for good I would not complain.
