Hey guys. Since NewsCaster's Belltown thread is out for a while I decided to create a thread similar to the Belltown threads. This is the Hockey thread while there will be another football dynasty as well as a potential basketball dynasty. The town which these stories will take place is Dayton, Minnesota.
A town of only 2000 the local high school has been a high school in which many championships had been won. Now, Dayton High School (DHS) has been struggling ever since having not finished over .600 in almost a decade. Our school colours are maroon and black with silver. The school mascot is a badger.
The season is 16 games long without playoffs. Playoffs are single knock-out continuous O.T. for 2 games except for finals that's a 3 game series. Have to finish in the top 8 for a playoff berth. There will be a JV and Varsity team. Sign up. I will also create a character to interact with yours. As well as controlling the coach, the other non-user players and the teachers.
I will have heat of the moment decisions/actions. For example;
Teammate gets hit a long the boards. You are on the ice. what do you do? You could:
A. Get into a fight with the player (1 game suspension)
B. Yell at the ref all the way up the ice
C. Do nothing at all
Each decision/action has its own corresponding consequence or reward.
Also, the result of the game will not be posted until after having gone through the first, second, and third periods.
