EA Sports has just released some more EA Sports UFC screenshots. These feature Demian Maia and Rory MacDonald. More screenshots of other athletes in the game will be released in the coming weeks, prior to the Spring 2014 release for Xbox One and PS4.

Rory looks good up close, the far away shot not so much, but most likely because of the black background.

Maia looks terrible. There is no definition in his face and he has a lot of wrinkles, divots, etc. It looks like a photoshopped version you would see for a model.

I hope EA isn't trying to hide anything. We saw this same pre release activity or lack there of from nba live.

Yeah, no word on when the next developer diary is going to land. It could be 1 or 2 months from now considering spring 2014 release date basically equals to late May or June. I'm tired of the screenshots. I just want to see a match. This game must be far from finished.

It's all speculation and assumption at this point, but a later release than we expect won't surprise me. I'm sure EA Sports doesn't want this game to compete with Madden and FIFA, so I'll be surprised if it's not out by summer at least. But who knows, it could be almost ready for all we know. Either way, I want a complete game regardless of whether it's delayed or not.

Let me know when they start talking about fighter awareness? The awareness of the condition of their opponent, themselves, and in relation to where they are in the ring. Is stamina gonna play a huge part? It does in actual blood sports more than team sports. Are they trying to replicate the sport or a fighting game? These screenshots answer nothing.

We can only hope! It seems like the single player and offline are secondary, I also truly hope they give this game the sports game treatment and not the fight game disrespect.

I know this isn't the team that does Madden but what's up with EA and struggling to get accurate body types in their games? The last batches of faces I have seen look good but the bodies just don't seem right.

They did full body scans. I'd think if they don't look right in the game, you're calling the actual person weird looking aha

Rory's face look good but his body is a bit too wide. Gave him some wiiiide lats

Maia looks like Gollum. Rory looks like the Psycho that he is. Just realized that he looks like he does because like all video game character he had dead eyes.

The reason their bodies look off is the same reason Matt Serra has always looked fatter than he normally does. When you see these guys with their shirts off its the day after they make weight. When they take these pics its whenever, probably not around fight night. Most should look a bit thicker because of that...I think that is clearly the case with Rory
