Re: Loading screen
Same thing happened to me this past weekend. I basically went into my Xbox Storage through the Xbox home and deleted everything in my NBA 2k14 folder that wasn't an association, draft class, or roster file. If you play other game modes then obviously don't delete those, but delete any setting and online data and etc.
I then started the game up again, after about 20-30seconds of downloading NEW SETTINGS or whatever it says it finally worked. Something must've happened with their last Online changes.Comment

Re: Loading screen
I believe they recently added some jerseys which made a recent download take FOREVER.
But Yeah, I hate this as well. Seems like every time I play, I have to sit there for at least 45 seconds while the game downloads content and does all the typical loading. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying since I don't use most of that stuff (I just play offline modes).
It would be nice to have the option to bypass it, and if we want to download content, we could do it proactively.Comment

Re: Loading screen
This "Updating New Content" is extremely annoying. I am just a casual player. I just want to play a couple quick games here and there...maybe 2 or 3 times a week. So to have to sit there and wait 5 minutes to boot up is weak.
I do like the new jerseys, but no idea why it takes so long to download. But I would rather them just let me know the jerseys (or whatever DLC is out there), and if I want it, I can proactively go out and download it. At least then I know it will tie up the system for a few minutes. I won't stuck there wondering if the system is frozen or not.
Crappy design decision on this one.Comment
