Looking for some pro-bowl drafted DE
So, I am starting a chise with the Bucs and I am looking for some non-imported rookie DEs to draft, that you had really good success with. Are there any names of DEs that you had pro bowl caliber success with, or just ended up being really effective.
Some names would be greatly appreciated, thank you.Tags: None -
Re: Looking for some pro-bowl drafted DE
Depends on what draft class you're in to be honest.
Titus Caldwell is great.
Randy Millisaps / Millsaps is insanely fast.
Reid Lockavitch is a strong runstopper.
There's more out there, I never focused on drafting DE's because I already had some good ones. I only took the above names because they stood out above the rest of the pack of draftable players in some way. -

Re: Looking for some pro-bowl drafted DE
Jahred Muhammad. He's in the draft class with Treble and Trouble Green and Ric Fleury. He's 6'7'", 270 lbs. Great combination of speed, strength and acceleration. His MCV and ZCV skills are also really good. With a little boost to his Awareness and Play recognition, he could make a great OLB. He's great already as a defensive end with an 84 overall rating straight out of the draft.Comment

Re: Looking for some pro-bowl drafted DE
Torren Newkirk draft
LE Matt Raby (94 spd, 90 acc)
Can't say it enough, he is a pure 4-3 speed rushing stud. He finished year one at 97, year two he was 99 and demolished the sack record. Once he beats the opponents RT he has a guaranteed sack against QBs with slow release. QBs with quick release usually get a "throw" off but it drops to the ground near the oline. When he is subbed out in preseason and playing on my kickoff team he almost always gets the special team tackle. I could see him playing OLB in a 3-4 as well, he is just that good. Oh and you can draft him in the 3rd round haha.Comment

I also drafted this guy to play RE on my Bucs team. I have LE Matt Raby, UT Gerald McCoy, NT Daimone Blue and RE Jahred Muhammad. Best past rushing front four in madden right now. Im getting 5-8 sacks a game.Comment

How big is this guy and how are his intangibles? I might try to get him and put him at OLB.Comment
