We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Quick Counts: Hit or Miss?
Please be honest even if you have to be brutally honest. Personally I don't see how this can miss, but I've been wrong before and I'll probably be wrong again, at some point in the distant future
I'd love to know more about your impressions of Dynamic Difficulty.
I as well, Does it start really easy until you get to a certain point (or you have to play a certain amount of time)...I love the idea but i have played the Show for so long that i think it would take away from it if I were to basically start at rookie level even if it moved up in difficulty quickly..
I would love to hear your opinion on how you feel the Ball Physics have improved since 13?
Also does it seem like batters can now turn those hits down the lines into the corners into extra base hits more realistically now? Meaning average to above average runners don't get thrown out at second base. In real life the batter would be easily safe at second on these same kind of hits most of the time. But in MLB The Show you get thrown out at second more often then you should at least in my opinion anyway.
When I bring this up I am always told I should adjust my fielding sliders. But I was hoping this would be improved by default as I feel I should not have to adjust my sliders.
Franchise mode trade logic (offline) see any off the wall transactions or anything that stands out? Thanks
I'll be honest, I am totally not the person to ask about Franchise mode. I wish Knight lived closer so I could invite him over to cover that, seriously.
- I'm echoing ball physics. I'm sure they'll feel/look better with the new camera though. Speaking of which...
- Are there any new custom camera control options, such as field of view (like when you use the right analog stick on replays)?
- How is the dynamic fielding and hitting camera?
- Are baserunners going around bases more appropriately, and not slowing up?
- It has been said that the flow of commentary is improved. Can you shed any light on specific moments that just feel better and more natural among the three men in the broadcast booth?
Thanks a lot, man!

Any improvement to CPU AI especially OF routes always being perfect? Do runners round 3rd correctly now on their way home or are they still in mud? Infiedler animations (I hate when they back and or lolly-gag when a fast runner is burning down the line).

Excellent question! Ditto!
Also I would like to add.....during warm up pitches.....organ or rock songs again like 13 (actually got used to the rock tunes on 13 and enjoyed them quite a bit but also loved the old time organ music playing in the background while I warmed up a pitcher).
Thanks!
