I think he was being sarcastic. I agree, WAY too many threes.

The biggest problem with the gameplay is that there isn't a large enough discrepancy between the different level of players. You could have LeBron score 50 points and then get Martell Webster going and score 50 as well. (Rather easily)

I also think the signature skills/personality badges are lame and overpowered. It's also a cop out for not having to go as in depth with the tendencies on each player. If there were more tendencies (and more realistic ratings) then we wouldn't need Kobe to have "Shot Creator" because that would just be how his player plays. I'm fine with the hot and cold streaking because that happens in real life but this other stuff needs to go away. There is such a thing as too much fluff.

I don't mind great shooters having a hot night and going 8 for 9 from deep once in a while, but as the above poster says, just about anybody is capable of that in this game.

I mean. Charlie vilanueva went 6/7 on me from deep. Yeah , he can hit it. But he rides the bench for a reason. But Drummond was hurt so he was starting and I even switched to a 3-2 to make them shoot inside shots so the cpu collapses my defense and kicks it out. I play on all-star too. Can't even imagine hall of fame.

I think it's because the defense is designed to sag off all the time. I imagine most of these 3s are wide open right? The CPU just shoots too many threes because they're always open.
I played a game against the Suns where Barbosa shot 9 threes in about ten minutes. Theres no reason he should be taking that many threes since he's not a big three point shooter. The tendencies need to updated. I honestly can't remember the last time they were. 2k13 maybe?

its insanely evident in my career that there is no semblance of tendencies or running sets. im a sf on the suns and its crazy how many times dragic will bring the ball up the court and make a single pass to the left or right and the cpu will shoot the three. doesnt matter if theyre open or covered they just shoot with like 18-20 seconds left on the shot clock.

im just not sure whats worse about it: the fact that they shoot it or the fact that a horrible shot like that goes in more often than not.

I got my butt kicked in my HOF SIM league by ANTHONY BENNETT!!! He has a 61 3pt rating and still swishes even thought we dropped 3ball slider to 47

Mycareer is my main game mode so I know exactly what you mean. I play SG on the Kings and the same **** happens with us all the time. They make the shots as well. I'm really not sure why Derrick Williams is such a good shooter in this game but the dude is a complete deadeye. Idk how he got an 83 3pt rating but ok.
This is annoying because the CPU will do it back to you. I was playing the Mavs when Calderon and Carter just decide to pass the ball back and forth on the perimeter. Somehow this ends in a open 3 for VC? They really need to improve a lot for 2k15.

its a huge part of why most games are extremely high scoring (115-120 points per team). i had one the other day where i came in with 2 minutes left in the first quarter and the score was 18-15. by the end of the first quarter it was 27-25. in two minutes both teams put up 9-10 points. i think there was one missed shot and the lowest the shot clock got for either side was maybe 15 seconds.

there are just a ton of frustrations with the game. one of my biggest gripes with my career is being penalized for playing help defense.

That always happens when you're coming in off the bench. I just had that scripted moment where they don't play you in the 3rd then they you expect to make a comeback in the fourth. When I came in the first four minutes, they scored 17 and only missed once. Then, of course, I get that stupid scene with the coach telling me how bad I was lol
The thing I hate about help defense is how slow you move around on defense sometimes. There are times where you should be able to help a little bit and get back to your man in time, but you get stuck in weird animations giving up some open shots.
