Strange Things in The Show Live

I decided to try a couple games in The Show Live mode while I wait for a roster update. Some strange things have happened, mostly roster related during the games. It always seems to be opening day, Ervin Santana came into pitch for the Rangers, and Robbie Ross came in the game in relief of...Robbie Ross. Do these things eventually get cleaned up with roster updates?

Tried to play today's Phillies/Cubs game in The Show Live... still Opening Day. Also it had Cliff Lee's ERA at 0.00. I remember when I played a couple games in this last year all player's stats were accurate to that day. Has anyone else played a game in this mode and it not been opening day?

Don't have PS3 version but on Vita every batter has same generic batting stance...

I noticed the Opening Day bug in The Show Live as well.

I pitched with price and after my first k it showed a graphic saying First Career Strike Out.

Then they talked about how the rays will want more and more k's out of him.

Also I fast forwarded from the 6th to the start of the 8th. When I resumed playing the box score correctly showed no score for the 8th but when I took the mound it was the 9th. When I rechecked the box score it put 2 0's in for the 8th.

I was ok with it because I was up 3-1. Got 3 outs and the game was over.

Hmmm. Must be a Vita thing then. All have same stance plus no batting gloves etc. And King Felix came in for the save...weird...

Yeah in the 6th before I FF'ed, I saw a pop up display that the rays were warming up Balfour.

Wtf?

Price ended up throwing a complete game

Usually the pitcher in the closers spot is a starter. Maybe this will be fixed with the roster update.

As for Santana being on the Rangers, that happened last year. If there's a player on a major league roster that's not in the game yet, the game replaces him on the team with a free agent which Santana is since he didnt sign early enough to be put on the Braves. As for the other stuff, I'm not sure. It'll probably be fixed after the first roster update

Another one. It looks like I can only access games from 4/5 to 4/14. I'm thinking most of these issues are due to it being the first week of the game released. Last year they probably had all of March to get it going. I'm hoping it gets better. I think this is a pretty fun mode for people who want to play games with (mostly) up to date rosters.

Thanks I'll give it a try. I'm wondering if because the online Roster is from March 31 if that is causing the Opening Day problem.

Noticed this while playing today's BAL/NYY game in The Show Live with the new roster from 4/7. Jonathan Schoop (cool that his name is in there), Yangervis Solarte, Dean Anna, etc (all new players added in the update) had Derek Jeter's face. Pretty weird.

That may a very good sign and great news for Classic Roster creators! Brings us back to the MLB12 Jeter Glitch!
