So the in-game framework for SOTS was carried over, it's just that the system itself doesn't support the outside music. Good to know.

For the love of god Sony, give The Show gamers what they want and patch this in

Nice little preview overall (though one minor quibble, I'm fairly certain it was 07 that was the first on PS3, not 06).

That aside, this was probably the best news from the write-up to me:

First, what hasnโ€™t been moved to the PS4 version completely are most aspects of the โ€œSounds of the Showโ€ feature. Itโ€™s still present in the game, but since the PS4โ€ฒs OS still doesnโ€™t support .mp3 files, the development team wasnโ€™t able to make Sounds of the Show as diverse as it is on PS3. Instead, users are only allowed to work with music and sounds made available on the disc, and not allowed to create custom sounds or import their own music. This is completely due to the fact that the OS itself doesnโ€™t allow them to do so yet. If/when support is added to the OS on the PS4, the team definitely plans to add these additional items back into the mode though.
That should end some worry/speculation. Hopefully Sony gets their firmware updated in time for 15.

Probably wishful thinking but hope they can add a patch if sony updates the ps4 to support adding music files on the system

Watching that interview on YouTube in 1080 settings made me feel like this.....

It's coming, sony has been slow with the ps4 OS updates though, I hope soon, that and DLNA media streaming.

I don't think that is wishfull thinking at all, they put sounds of the show there for a reason.

Just nail down that framerate. I know its usually the last thing tweaked so I'm positive they'll get a handle on it.

I think thats probably the last thing we have to worry about. They got 60 on PS3. PS4 should have no problem achieving that.

You would have to think they at least talk with each other to where Sony San Diego can get something like that pushed through to Sony if need be
