Packs are scripted?!

So I watched some videos where people were opening the 98 Spurs Packs. They always started to get duplicates at the fifth pack. This now happened to me aswell, 4 packs and 4 different players, then duplicates. This can't be random at all, particulary with dups, its just annoying.

There definitely seems to be rotations. Yesterday I pulled 6 Dennis Johnson's in a row. I waited an hour to pull more packs and then I kept pulling the same two people over and over.

The same thing was happening to other people yesterday as well.

Open only 5-10 packs at a time. Then wait 8 hours to open more.

Opened all the packs when I had the MT, so never two packs in a row.

Got Len Chappel on the 71 hawks 8 times in a row. Then i waited about 6 hours and got the bronze guy i needed, just annyoing.

Yeah, just pulled dupes trying to get Wallace like 20 tries going to try tomorrow

Yes packs are scripted. 2k set it up so players comes in waves so they can make more VC off impatient people. I never open more than 5 of the same packs at once. I break up my pack openings with at least 8 hours wait in between. I seem to get less dupes that way.

It is incredible how I just have no luck in packs. I got so many bronze players in team packs, and in gold packs I keep on getting dups. Haven't pulled any player above 90 so far, my best player being Ruby Iggy and he's from a locker code. I think I only pulled 8 different golds so far.

Which packs have been the best for you in terms of getting superstar players?

I've had pretty good luck honestly if I'm going for current players I go with the emerald packs bc I end up most often than not getting decent enough players. I use MT for team packs and I already have all the legends I want with the exception of a dominate Center

You should go for historic packs to build your team. Originally, I just went for gold packs too but you will find later that a lot of historic players are much better than the current ones.

You can get Julius Erving (Afro '77), Michael Jordan ('96, '91), Gary Payton, Wilt Chamberlain, Rodman ('96), Pippen ('91) without completing the sets. Plus the packs are much cheaper so you can get a lot of contracts and sig skills.

And if you want to go for sets - Kemp, Shaq, Olajuwon, Dominique Wilkins are great players as well.
