    Progression

How fast do players progress in this game? Like per year and is it based off of anything other than their age + potential? Do they progress maybe 1 or 2 overall a year or like 5 or 6 or maybe even 8 to 10

About how long does it take for a 73 overall player who has A potential and is 20 years old to progress to the 90s?

Progression also depends on the year they had. the best ive had was with Dee Gordon, he hit .270 wirth 3 HR, 40 rbi, and like 65 sb. he progressed from 75-80. potential didnt change from B though.

It very highly depends on the year players have had and what attributes have been improved, all based on position. Least this is something I've noticed when playing RTTS as my 2nd baseman, certain attributes will improve my overall more than another attribute will. Contact, fielding and speed (maybe even plate vision and batting clutch) I believe affected my overall the most I think, just something to think about when you look at overalls, they don't tell the whole story of a player.
