I've been using Xanathol's editor for mainly '12.With the old style franchise you can edit draft classes.In the connected career/franchise for "13 and 25 you can use the editor on a roster but can't during a franchise.The coding was never cracked.
I'm on 360.Don't know if PS3 is the same for editor use but I think you can do the same with it. -

He basically developed a game save editor. File encryption and decryption to and from the XBOX 360 has been a solved problem for a few years, so if one can figure out what the unencrypted save data means (i.e. how players are stored in the roster file), one can edit the file safely and even put together a user interface with which to consistently edit the file in a manner that's not just looking at raw byte text.Comment
