Epic 1st game!! 15 innings! Walkoff :)

Whoa!
First The Show game I played since The Show 09.

Tigers vs. Giants (me).
And it carried on till the 15th inning, when Buster Posey hit a walkoff single off the RF wall!!

What a great game to start myself on baseball video games again!

I'm pumped up!

BTW, took me a bit to get used to quick count, and ended up giving lots of walk.
I chose Experienced User settings, so it's Veteran difficulty.

OP beat me to it, lol.. but I had an epic first game too. Yanks/Red Sox, 11 innings, bases loaded, 2 outs, Victorino up... BOOM GW grand salami.

As did I. Only 9 innings, but multiple lead changes, a comeback from down 8-1, and an 8th inning rally to win it! And I archived the whole thing on Twitch to boot!

No payment on twitch needed. I'm honestly not sure about needing PS+ since I've had it for 3 years now and don't really give it a second thought.

Mine was fun, but not so epic.

4-1 win with the Giants over the Dodgers.

I must say, AT&T looks gorgeous in this game. That park has always been my favorite to play in in TS.

Cool, I haven't had any HRs so far.
Granted I play with the Giants... so it's tougher :P (though on real life the Giants are actually 2nd on MLB in HRs, go figure it out)

Strange. My first game was one of the best I have ever played as well. Cueto had a no hitter through 7 and lost it to Jay leading off the 8th. Was playing quick counts (how did we ever play video game baseball before this) and feared I was going to have to pull him in the middle of the no hitter because he had 95 pitches through 7. After the no hitter was broken up Cueto finished the inning and I brought Chapman in the 9th and he was hit with a come backer in the leg. Managed to close out the Cards 2-0.

I also had an epic first game, started out pretty rough (I went down swinging first 6 at bats, all star zone with pitch speed maxed out). I gave up a 3 run homer to eithier in the 7th and almost abandoned all hope.

I hit a two run shot with Simmons in bottom 9th w 2 outs on a 2-2 count. They put a new pitcher and I went back to back with Uggla to tie it up.

I set them down in order in the top of 10th bringing me to bottom of the 10th. They walked my leadoff batter and then Heyward on 5 pitches. I bunted with jupton to get runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, they intentionally walked Freeman and then I went down swinging with Gattis. I then hit a beautiful liner in the gap between 1st and 2nd with Johnson for the walk off.

What a way to start off my experience with the show on ps4.

My first game: Exhibition. Cardinals vs Pirates. 2-0 lead going into 8th, they tie it up. Walkoff HR in 12th from Matt Adams, 3-2.

But then my next game: 1st Spring Training game to kickoff my franchise.
Cards vs Marlins.
PH RBI single from Shane Robinson in the 6th to take a 1-0 lead.
They load the bases in the 8th. No outs. still 1-0 lead. I bring in Motte for 3 K's in a row. *wipes brow*
Then they bloop twice and tie it in 9th.
Holliday misplays in the 10th, giving them 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. I bring in Siegrist. Gets a popout to 2nd, then a K.
*wipes brow*
Strangely, I once again hit a Walkoff HR in the 12th, this time with Holliday.
I thought ST games aren't supposed to actually go past 10 innings?
Anyway, 2 awesome games to begin my new era of baseball!

LMAO awesome OP. Especially because I'm a Giants fan.

It seems like my first game every year is always an epic one. Then I have a string of games where I just get annihilated.

My first game was pretty much why I love this game.

Brewers (me) vs. Cardinals in Milwaukee.

I take an early 1-0 lead, then in the 6th the Cards have men on 1st and 3rd with one out. A fly ball to Gomez that I misplay trying to setup a throw to the plate (I really had no chance...was way too deep) leads to an inside the park HR (yeah... my spring training ha).

The Cards then lead 3-1. In the bottom of the 6th I plate a run on a 2 out single by Segura to cut it to a 3-2 Cards lead.

Great pitching the rest of the way... I squander a couple scoring opportunities, but so do the Cards (they had 11 LOB!).

Bottom of the 9th. Back to back singles to start the inning. Khris Davis comes up and I attempt a sac bunt. Failed... Popped up to the catcher. Next batter, Gennett pops out in foul territory.

I pinch hit Mark Reynolds for the pitchers spot, with two outs. Get ahead 2-1 against Rosenthal. Sitting dead red... Pull a 98 MPH heater over the wall in left. Brewers walkoff!

Oh and for everyone's information Braun went 0-4 with 2 K's.
