Update file w/ digital download
 

I downloaded mlb 14 off the psn marketplace. Does anyone know what the update file that downloads with the game is for?

I deleted mine so if there's another way to download, please share.

maybe when you have finished to install the game, it will update by itself and download the update file, if not maybe you need to start all over again

Yea man I let it finish installing and no prompts for an update. I'm trying to avoid having to download and install again. Thx for the suggestion.

Are you sure you didn't just delete the notification of the update?

It should do it automatically. I would think. I'm curious why you'd delete it though?

Yeah. You can check the version of the game and if you have the update it will be version 1.03. You can do this by going to the game icon on the ps4 menu and hitting the option button on the controller and scrolling down to Information. Should be 1.03 i believe.

Even if you don't I would hope you could get it without redownloading and installing the game.

I agree. You would think it will prompt you to install an update before going online and if it can't find one, it will download it for you. Not sure though. Just a thought.
