Re: [Photo Gallery] EA Sports in Philadelphia for player face scans
I really hope they get this done for a large number of teams. And for selfish reasons, the Chiefs. It's really going to be a killer if there's 7 or 8 teams with their whole team face scanned and then your team has like five guys. -

As a Bucs fan having 5 guys with face scans in would be an improvement lolComment

Listen I get it. Putting their faces in makes the game more authentic...but how often do we see their faces besides cut scenes? Glad they are doing it but it doesn't mean crap if the gameplay still bites.Comment

With the PS4, they should be able have a significant number of facial scans and great gameplay. It should not be an either/or scenario.Comment

Re: [Photo Gallery] EA Sports in Philadelphia for player face scans
It would be a lot if they implemented quality broadcast presentation. You would see them in cut scenes, pre-snap, and post play. And of course the Twitter feed. That's a lot.
I'm happy they are doing this--I'm tired of all the generic faces--where 10 guys on your team look identical.Comment

Re: [Photo Gallery] EA Sports in Philadelphia for player face scans
It's 2014. There is no reason why there shouldn't be both accurate faces/models/equipment as well as great gameplay. I'm tired of having to create players already in the game because the existing models are the wrong skin color and unproportioned (that might not be a word)Comment

Re: [Photo Gallery] EA Sports in Philadelphia for player face scans
Forget face scans, do full body scans. The proportions of players in EA football games are some of the worst in sports gaming.Comment

I was gonna say the same thing. Full body scans would do alot for the look of this game. Actually I think all sports games could benefit. Hopefully the next evolution.http://twitter.com/sageinfinite

Re: [Photo Gallery] EA Sports in Philadelphia for player face scans
Every team in the NFL should get this type of treatment, regardless of popularity or amount of superstars on the roster. I'm tired of "irrelevant" teams getting the short end of the stick in the Madden series.
I vividly remember a producer interview around Madden 12 saying EA prefers to give each team in the NFL equal attention because "everyone has a favorite team". I don't think that's been the case the past few seasons, but M15's rumored graphical "overhaul" is the perfect opportunity.
Of course, I'm speaking as a biased Bills fan whose team only has around 3 players with real faces in Madden (ex-Bengal Manny Lawson included). Hopefully they show the same attention to detail --- and that they include the new renovations to the stadium (when the last ones at RWS took four seasons for EA to implement last-gen).Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

According to one of the photo guys (Nick Laing), they aren't scheduled to do every team yet. He said they would like to but some teams haven't gotten back to him yet. St Louis, Buffalo, and more are next. Green bay hasn't gotten back to him yetComment

Looks like your issue with the Bills has been resolved.Every team in the NFL should get this type of treatment, regardless of popularity or amount of superstars on the roster. I'm tired of "irrelevant" teams getting the short end of the stick in the Madden series.
