    PS4 vs Xbone?

For those that have both...which is the better version? I remember seeing on digital foundry that they gave the edge to the Xbone demo. It also seems that EA tends to put the main focus on the Microsoft platforms.

    Re: PS4 vs Xbone?

I have both consoles but I have only played it on PS4. I will say, and maybe this is just my machine or something wrong on my end, I have noticed a little bit of framerate dropping once in a while during fights. Maybe it is the digital version, I dunno. It isn't common, but a couple times I have noticed it dip randomly. I was streaming in HD at the time too so maybe that had an effect.

When it comes to comparing versions though I wouldn't just go with DF. They are a good site but there are lots of sites that do comparisons I would look for feedback from all of them.

Something tells me it is pretty identical on either system for this game

I'm also debating but I'm probably going to buy this on Xbox. "Xbox record that" after a viscious knockout is easier to do...that, and I need something to play on my xb.

I think the game clips record automatically. I've gotten a "clip recorded" message after my online fights. I have an Xbox One but I'm sure any differences between the two are extremely insignificant.

I want to do the same but most of OS is going PS4. Controls for me just flow better on the Xbone but I'm gonna stick with PS4 so I can get mopped up daily

I played the demo on both and it was the first cross platform game I played I could say without a doubt is identical on both consoles. Take it from a person who wishes he kept his PS4 copy of 2K14 instead of selling it and getting it for X1.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Maybe its just me or my TV but IMO, games look better on the Xbox One but run better on PS4. This exspecially being the case with 2K14

I played the UFC demo on both and the Xbox One looked better, but both games seem to run the same on both consoles. Maybe it just how my set is calibrated...who knows.

Yeah, it is funny because I have the opposite. A lot of games at launch, especially Madden, BF4, and 2k14, looked better on my PS4. That being said, when I calibrated my TV and adjusted the all the settings it was when the PS4 first came out and I didn't have my One yet and it was basically all for the PS4.

On the flip side, my roommate is playing the One about 10 feet away and I am getting some weird fram rate dips or choppy sequences in some of the entrances and end of fight highlights on my PS4, but he isn't. Who knows.

It don't mind me asking, what method of calibrating did you use? I used the Xbox Ones calibration for its input and a calibration disc for the PS4
