    Mike Florio Speaks about Madden

This was a step in the right direction for football gaming as today, Mike Florio for NBCSports.com has spoken up about Madden football as quoting "It sucks!". He has taken it upon himself in his article that was posted today on Pro Football Talk to call EA, ESPN and the NFL out on hyping, creating and basically ripping off the football gaming community and I for 1 applaud him. It needed to be said and now someone in mainstream media has finally said something.

A recent mention of the flaws inherent to the only available NFL video game prompted a positive response from many of you who lament the fact that the exclusive license EA obtained from the NFL and the NFLPA in 2004 removed any incentive for the Madden series to become the best game it can be.

I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, I do wish Madden had some competition to accelerate improvement, but on the other hand this conversation is getting old. The NFL knows exactly what it's doing. If they wanted Madden to have competition, there would be. I'm not saying I agree with this, but it's the way it is.

      Thank you Mike Florio!!
It's not about the win or loss that reveals a man, but the journey to get there and the battle that transpired. This speaks Volumes
