The ONLY Way to Come Close To Getting 'Rookies' On Teams...
I, like many of you, wait for the day after the draft to put in the rookies, and see what they can do in the NBA.
This year...on Gen4...it is impossible. You can't create players or edit their names. It looks like i am going to HAVE to go back to PS3 to keep the tradition up...but this is my only idea how to make it happen with the graphics of Gen4. Basically the idea is this... Find look-a-like players from Europe and Classic Teams Edit everything that CAN be edited.. -Position -Height, Weight -Body type -Age -Number -School -Experience -Ratings -Sig Shots -Gear -Badges and Special Skills Edit all that on the player to replicate the rookie he is emulating, then place them on the team they were drafted by. Obviously, the main disadvantage will be the player names are not the real players. For this, all I could think of is to turn off player names on the court, or switch it to number...and also turn off commentary, then turn PA way down...or off. After that it would just be remembering what player is what. Honestly...after a few hours...I'm pretty sure I'm just going back to PS3. |

Good idea, sucks we have to go back to a N64/PS mindset. But something is better than nothing.

Nice work.
I've seen overall ratings for these rookies (Parker 80, Wiggins 80, etc.) but I would love to find some in depth attributes (passing, speed, 3-PT shooting, etc.) because I don't know them that well. Anyone have these on a spreadsheet or something? |
