Before this begins, we need to get to 7 votes on the second choice in the team vote thread. Remember, this is for the 2014 season, not last year's teams.
As of this post, the votes stands 5-3 in favor of option B- where users may select whoever they please, regardless of conference affiliation. I expect that option to win.
Based on your team preferences, I'm expecting a lot of SEC bloodbaths when this league begins, even if we don't explicitly choose that league.
I'm going to preemptively start the league's draft. If the vote swings the other way, we'll just ask those members who picked a team outside the league to pick a different one or redraft with the same order.
If that vote swings and you drafted a team who was in that conference, we'll just sim your vote.
Example.
Let's say we do settle on a SEC dynasty. We'll pretend I picked Notre Dame but everyone else picked SEC teams. Since I pick 4th, the first 3 guys will keep their teams since they would pick before me again. We'd then do a draft from 5-12 unless I pick a team no one took in 5-12.
Does that make sense to everyone? It has some rough edges but I think it should work.
