Classic teams in 2k15: Will they comeback ? Do you want them back ? Will we get more?
 

As the title reads. What are your guys thoughts ?

Honestly. During the NBA regular season, I don't even give the classic teams a look. But in the off-season, its some good gaming in the summer months. I watched the Pistons "Bad Boys" documentary recently and have been using the 89 - 90 Pistons for the past 2 weeks and had some nice battles with Jordan and the boys.

I hope the classic teams comeback again next year. I hope they add more classic teams.

As a huge fan of the NBA and its history, I am most definitely hopeful that more classic teams are added to NBA 2K. Currently, I feel they add an incredible amount of depth to an NBA simulation product; I think their addition is one of the best decisions any sports game has ever made. So many people's wonderful NBA feelings are tied not just to the hopes that their current favorite teams will succeed, but also to the greatness and memories they've been able to witness over the years. The ability to re-live those moments, players, and teams is such a giant positive for me.

The apparent manner with which NBA 2K has been able to afford and add an overabundance of European teams seems to suggest they may have the monetary and technological means to add some more classic teams as well. As is always stated, even if rights fees are an issue, there's still a lot of wonderful 2000's retro teams that featured a number of current players (or players already included on other classic teams), needing only a few rights (if any) and the proper graphical updates (jerseys, courts, era haircuts).

The 2000 Lakers, for instance, already have eight players from their playoff roster included in NBA 2K. That number alone would be good enough, assuming the ability to create players and fill out the remainder of the roster (with the help of 2KShare) still existed. And if 2K were able to add a few other players (Rick Fox, Glen Rice), even better. Classic additions and modifications add so deeply to replay value and overall enjoyment for so many gamers out there.

I want the 03-04 Wolves and a Kings team with J-Will on it.

I hope they stay and that they add more. Me and a friend have had a great time doing fantasy drafts and playing seasons and playoffs.

I feel that the current status of the classic teams is rather boring, but if 2k took it back to 2k11 and had the broadcast/picture quality of the game match the time or the decade of teams you use it would build more excitment and realism for me.

And of course more teams would help I wouldnt mind seeing the Heat team that had Jamal Mashburn, Tim Hardaway, and Zo make an apperance as a classic team.

Would love any these teams in NBA2k15, I want to play with TMAC, Reggie, KG,JKidd,Young Dirk, and 2004 pistons. sorry if Yao come back i know he would be annoying in Myteam.

Maybe we could modify this list. Bullets 97-98 and Warriors 90-91 are not in this list.
