Madden 25 vs Madden 13

Since not much info regarding Madden 15 is being released,thought I'd find other ways to make the game stand out to me(and maybe others who did similar thing as me).

Madden 13 was the last Madden game I got meaning I obviously didn't get Madden 25. So the question I have....what are the differences between Madden 13 and Madden 25? Meaning all the good and bad stuff about changes.

The only one I know of is the whole franchise relocation stuff(which I hope can be expanded on for Madden 15 since each city only had 3 or so names to choose from)

M13 for me was a giant beta for M25. AI was brain dead, RTP engine was a hot mess, Connected Franchise was a mess as well on 13.

M25 is my favorite Madden ever for gameplay and CFM is the best franchise has ever been for me personally on this past gen.

Also Madden share. Classic rosters. Replay value is incredible.

Skipping Madden 15.

Skipping Madden 15.

The only beef I have with M25 is sim stats. It sims like a game from 1970. Quarterbacks have unrealistic stats with more INTs than TDs most of the time.

Agree, it's not by any means perfect. The thing that drives me mad about the Madden series is....we have not played the very best Madden yet.

I really believe that.

M25's gameplay is a blast for me. But then why can't we have the same functionality of M12's formation subs sticking, auto subs working pretty much to perfection, the great camera work of M12.

I understand some custom ability was given up for the CFM make over. But sim stats, auto subs and formation subs are critical. And those took a step back from M12.
Where as the gameplay for me personally is leaps and bounds better on M25 and I can't play 12 anymore.

I just wish we could get that close to complete package like other sports games were able to deliver (2K11, The Show 14, NHL 11 and 13) no sports game is ever perfect.

I will be very curious and read lot's of impressions on the PS3/360 version of M15 to see if any of this under the hood stuff get's fixed and tuned. It would actually make a huge difference in the overall quality.

Remains to be seen. Doubt it though. I have to assume PS4/One is getting the most attention now.

Maybe it is just me getting older, but I just want a football game now that is fun, challenging, and gives me stats that I can compare to the CPU. There is no reason why I should win MVP and Pro Bowl every year just because the CPU can't sim correctly. That is why I am still on M12, though I do agree M25 gameplay is superior. It is just not enough that I feel the urge to switch. M12 another year for me and updated rosters and schedules.

i'm going to as well. 25 has been good to me. in conjunction with no more ncaa games, yea i don't think i'll be buying madden anymore.

Am I missing something here? M15 CFM has improved upon M25, if you liked M25 CFM I would think you'd like 15 even more. Not to mention the improvement in gameplay and presentation over 25.

Yes, you are missing the fact that the question of the thread is M25 vs. M13.....M15 has nothing to do with this discussion.

Am I missing something here? M15 CFM has improved upon M25, if you liked M25 CFM I would think you'd like 15 even more. Not to mention the improvement in gameplay and presentation over 25.

We were comparing M25 and M13. But for me to consider M15 for the PS3 the improvements to gameplay will have to be really noticeable.

While I really like what I have read about M15's presentation enhancements and CFM improvements.....for me at this point since I am sticking with the PS3 for at least one more year...it's about AI now.

I am still playing M25 and for me I have not played a Madden title this much since Madden 2005 and 07 on the PS2/XBOX.

So I will wait till all the impressions are out, gameplay vid's and reviews from some trusted OS'ers. If it is indeed a big step up (like NCAA 14 was a huge jump from 13) I may take the plunge on M15 towards the end of the year (after it drops in price to say 40 bucks) and any patch needed drops. I am also weary of patch support this time around since the focus is on PS4/One now.

Anyway I really hope 15 is a big jump because I love M25. If it is a really a lot better I will be pleasantly surprised and a buyer.

Madden 25 is the first madden of that generation to get player movement correct.

Madden 25 has it's flaws but it is easily the best madden of the last generation.

We all know that they are not making any big changes so Madden 15 on last gen consoles should be perfect. EA has a track record so we know that won't be the case.

I do not mean to hijack your thread, but I am new and I have a quick question. I own a Wii U (yeah yeah, blow me - I can't live without my Mario and Zelda) and I am wondering what is the best Madden for the Wii/Wii U. Do I go with Madden 13 because it's the only one for the Wii U? Or do I go with Madden 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12? I've got it narrowed down to 07, 09 All-Play, and 13 for U, but I'm not sure. I decided to ask the experts for help. So...help?

I do not mean to hijack your thread, but I am new and I have a quick question. I own a Wii U (yeah yeah, blow me - I can't live without my Mario and Zelda) and I am wondering what is the best Madden for the Wii/Wii U. Do I go with Madden 13 because it's the only one for the Wii U? Or do I go with Madden 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, or 12? I've got it narrowed down to 07, 09 All-Play, and 13 for U, but I'm not sure. Madden 13 for the Wii U is the way to go. The game runs on the M12 engine and also features that games' post-play replay angles, which I find superior to M13 and 25.
