shot Ratings need to go in 2k15

im sure im not the only one here who gets mad as **** when they see EXCELLENT shot in the B+ to A+ area. while wide open, only to watch them brick it, or in some miracles Air ball it.

But then MAke AND SWISH Early/Late shots over people like no one was even there come on now 2k <_<

and dont even get me started on Free throws. Have they mentioned this at all in their "EPIC ANNOCEMENTS " <_<.

Have you ever seen Ray Allen miss a wide open jumper? Have you ever seen a youtube basketball trickshot video? Go figure

my problem isnt the fact they are just missing. its WHAT their missing. i play ball. i know you miss shots. but when you are missing, wide ****** open and its excellent and swishing late and bad shots CONTESTED shots come on.

to better put it. i hate the game inconsistency

Just because you're wide open and your shot is an A+ does not mean it should go in 100% of the time. If that was the case all people would do is perfect someone's shot and their field goal percentage would be 100%

Easy fix for 2k REMOVE IT AND FORCE PEOPLE TO USE PRACTICE MODE AND LEARN SHOT RELEASES like in the older 2k's

People are becoming lazy and relying on a green A+ rather than looking at individual shot ratings and tendencies.

A+ release means nothing when shooting a 3 with Reggie Evans right?

It's an algorithm based on how open you are combined with you rating and many other factors. I hate when these threads come up now and again because people think that they should make every A+ shot, have you watched any basketball games, nobody makes every jump shot even if they're wide open. But I understand the confusion, it's a little bit of 2K's fault because no shot is an A+, A+ means 100/100 to most people so I expect people to misconceive it. But you should realize that no person can make every jump shot they take. BTW learn to write.

There's two ratings that go into the shot though: release and shot quality. And the shot quality takes the player's skill into account. So it would be impossible to take a three with Reggie Evans and have an A+ shot quality, even with an A+ release and no defenders nearby.

I think the problem that the OP has is not that he misses good shots, but rather that it seems that more good quality shots miss than poor quality shots. It's frustrating when you brick multiple open shots, but then watch your opponent drain contested fadeaways after playing 23 seconds of good defense.

I feel your pain but 2k needs to find a better medium i rather have harder jump shots. This you feel a lot more rewarded when you make shots

That's basketball . You Can't expect to make every perfect wide open shot same as you can't expect to miss every bad one

go take 1000 wide open jump shots every day for 1 month straight. in the last week your release should be mastered. now, i guarantee you the highest clip you hit those excellent wide open releases is less than 35%. ray allen maybe 45%.

I can guarantee shooting on a court, all by himself, not at game speed, Ray Allen would shoot at a higher clip than 45%. If you're shooting less than 45% under those conditions, you are not a good shooter.
