Scanned Player Faces Being Added?

I just saw this tweet from Jerrell Freeman. Sorry if I missed it, but are the devs adding faces throughout the season? or are they just updating player portraits? With all those cameras I'm thinking face scan.

They're still doing scans and shots that will then be used in M16, like Von Miller's tattoos.
