I just got around to reading about the issues with NHL 15.... Wow, talk about a buzz kill. I guess the franchise will have to wait until the patches come out, because a dynasty without being able to draft is stoopid.

I have some cool idea's though, maybe I can make it fun before the dynasty starts, like a more detailed training camp through September, almost like real life. I'm committed to making this thing amazing, so hopefully EA comes through.

Really can't tell you how bummed I am about this patched content BS. I want to start the dynasty, and make it mind blowing, as usual ... but not being able to draft in the dynasty is complete trash, so I have to wait.

What should be done? Nothing until the stuff is added to the game, in October (hopefully), or start now, and drag out a training camp type thing, and focus more on the preseason games and roster battles?

Drag out the preseason, but start this in late september.

The one question I have is this... If I start a BE A GM in the game before the updates are released, am I going to have to start all over once the update comes out, or will the update be applied to the game already started?

If only Rammer had answered one of the 5 times that question was asked... I'd play it safe, I think. Maybe run a test franchise and see if the auto drafting works out OK or something?

Okay, picked up the game, I'm so stuck on what to do right now. I so badly want to start this, but I have a feeling I will just get pi**ed off when I don't see the normal stuff in the game..... ugh

Tazer, you can do what I'm doing and just start a BaGM with another team and play around with the format. That way when they fix all the depth features that are missing in NHL 15 you can boot up your excellent Chicago franchise. Maybe do an Eastern Conference team.

BTW - I'm running a Stars dynasty until they introduce a player editor so we can fix these dang EA Rosters. Hoping things like 3 Star and Draft can be patched into my current BAGM as I think the player editor might be a few months away (if ever *SHRUG*). Just my two cents man. Always appreciated the work you put into your franchises.
