Changing scheme- position type in online ccm

Forgive me if this has been addressed already, but I tried to change the position scheme types (ie de pass rusher to 3-4 versatile) and it kept for some but switched back to the default for others. Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a way to fix it?

I posted this exact problem in the Bugs and Glitches thread last night, no idea why it's happening and I doubt there's anything we can do to fix it.

I'm on PS4... this is very frustrating. I signed up for PS Plus just so I could play online CFM since they haven't fixed the sim stats for offline yet. Even then, the sim stats weren't really "fixed"

I can't speak for old gen, it's happening to me on the Xbox One.

I have experienced this problem, but not 100% of the time. It is a crappy workaround, but I would restart your CFM until you get one where the scheme changes save.

This is really annoying. I just want to change my scheme to better reflect how I want to assemble my roster but I can't because it keeps resetting. I don't want my QB to be a Pocket Passer, or for my DE to be 3-4 versatile when I run a 4-3.

Ok so I figured out that it only locks your position scheme if you play as an owner (which is garbage and needs to be fixed). However, playing as a coach you can change player schemes. So you can either start your career as a coach, set you scheme, and then retire and switch to the owner (just be sure you're good with the scheme).

EDIT: you have to be a created owner. If you start an online cfm as an existing owner your positions default back to what you started with, even after changing them as a coach and then becoming the owner. So, if you want to be play as an owner you have to create one in order to adjust player scheme.
