CFM, No Ratings for Free Agents?
Am I missing something or is there no way to see the ratings of Free Agents when you try to sign them in the off-season before the draft?

Re: CFM, No Ratings for Free Agents?
i had negative funds so i couldn't sign any free agents anyway so i didn't even check on any new stuff in free agency, but if they don't have any ratings that won't really be a problem for me, i just need to develop them and increase they rating....Comment

Re: CFM, No Ratings for Free Agents?
Why not have the R3 option for the player profile. Why not have the player type on that screen as well. Having scheme and not type seems like an oversight. Just like MUT cards with height and no weight. Silly.Comment

Re: CFM, No Ratings for Free Agents?
I dont really play CFM anymore but I remember that always being a problem. Yet another stupid annoyance.
But I never signed free agents anyway. I always felt like I was overpaying for a player when I can save money and develop talent.....
Yeah I was a cheap owner
I think EA should take a hard look at NBA2k series they by far have the best "Franchise Mode" to any sport game ever..Comment

I find it annoying in CFM that a players profile/card can't be seen from anywhere in the menu's where players are displayed, only roster.Comment

Re: CFM, No Ratings for Free Agents?
Last year was the same way it only shows OVR, personally I would rather see last year stats than ratings. I try to play as realistically as possible so I base my free agent signings more on how well a guy did than his ratings. When I sign free agents I save write down the players I am targeting for each position then find out their stats. It takes a little extra work but I always keep a notebook and a pen handy for the game.Comment

I do these things as well. Always use a pen and pad. I also do this when I'm drafting players. Potential picks, needs at certain positions (write down the position and player names of starters that are aging and may need to be replaced soon), what order I want to draft my picks in and what order I think I can actually get them, ect. I write down their names, position, some key attributes, then compare and contrast the rookies, and use the notepad finally when going into the draft selections. I haven't even tested out the random draft classes yet, as I won't touch CFM until offline CFM sim stats are fixed, but I hope I can do the same for the random draft classes this year and have as much fun making picks/re-building a team.Last year was the same way it only shows OVR, personally I would rather see last year stats than ratings. We are the same I create my own big board on paper lol. From what I have seen just simming through seasons the draft classes are pretty good this year. They are far from perfect and I wish we could edit them but between these and the Madden 25 ones it is a night and day difference. If you only scout a few attributes per player you can still find some good gems and some busts to make it a little life like.I do these things as well. Always use a pen and pad. Yeah, I'm definitely going to be going as in-depth as they allow me to for this year's draft, I know it's pretty much the same as maybe last year's when it comes to revealing attributes and such, but adding the pen and paper to it makes it feel so much deeper when re-building a team. So much fun, in opinion.
I know some players last year would waited until the end of the season to scout their players with all their built up XP, then scout, back out, restart and re-scout, but that just takes any fun out drafting players in my opinion. Probably the same players that used the draft guides. I'm really going to take my time and try to make the best decisions for key positions this year. I look forward to it, eventually. Hopefully sooner rather than later.Comment
