I'd also liked to use this opportunity to ask you, the community, some questions about Dynasty.

What are your expectations? What would you like to see? What's been a favorite feature from past games?

Lakers24 and Notice_0 has already given some great feedback.

Cutscenes? I feel they really help emerge the player.

Unfortunately, I can't talk about stuff that hasn't been released to the public yet.

Information like that will be released in a more official capacity.

I'm just bringing my thoughts over from your other post

I personally would like to see draft immersion like madden like draft stories on key players you could have J rose read them or something...but if you do this it has to be random draft classes or people will make draft guides

gameplay looks good from what I've seen you just need to build substance with Association mode don't focus on bringing it online just yet build a solid mode first please
we also need to be able to practice with our team without any restrictions,what I mean is think like team practice no objective or goals just the player playing like starters vs the bench

I want three team trades. I also want more realistic simulated stats. I think trade logic needs adjusting too.

I would like to see a weekly wrap-up, similar to what was in NFL 2k5, but with more depth. It would be a good way to keep up on what's going on around the league without having to go through a bunch of menus, which can be tedious and boring. Having highlights and scores from other games, trade talks, playoff pictures, award races, etc. in a nice presentation package would go a long way. Use that ESPN (SportsCenter) license! lol

Stats and trades. Dynasty shouldn't be in the game if these are not addressed.

Happen to play with 14 dynasty for a day or so. Not trying to be harsh but horrible.

Honestly, one of the main things I look for in a dynasty is player customization. I know this has been a highly requested addition in the game overall, but I like to tinker in dynasty/franchise modes even with teams I'm not controlling.

Draft/trade logic is also a big one. Helps add to the immersion that my dynasty is its own functioning league.

30 team control was never huge for me, but I feel like I'd be into it. But controlling multiple teams would be a must in the future. Always been a fan of fantasy drafts with friends/relatives.

Forgot to say this, but some of my favorite sports games have been games with coaching carousels. It would be awesome to see assistant coaches / faux college coaches take a vacated position whenever it needs to be filled.

My List:

1) Presentation - Multiple cutscenes for as many events as possible. For most of us, the best thing about franchise/dynasty modes is that we are able (if the mode is good enough) to throw ourselves completely into a digital world, so adding cutscenes goes a long way in upping the immersion factor.

-Press conferences after signing big free agents/rookies. Real voices would be great ala the other game, but if not, just a quick clip of the player holding up their new jersey alongside coach/gm etc. Post game press conferences would be nice as well, especially if certain players have great games or it is an important game.

-After practices (which MUST be in) show a cutscene of players leaving the gym showing team comradarie. Maybe if team moral is low, somehow incorporate that into the scene by showing players not really talking to each other etc

-Robust championship celebrations. Have multiple scenes so that If I win 6 chips with my team the scene isnt the same everytime

-If we make roster moves, have scenes that show players interacting with HC/GM in an office type setting.

These are a few examples but pretty much any scenario that happens in dynasty mode would be heightened by having cutscenes. Once you are diving deep into a franchise mode, looking at menu screens can get montonous and this is an easy way to keep the game feeling fresh

-Weekly Wrap-up Show. Just find a copy of NFL 2k5 and pretty much copy there recap shows. Have made up highlights that play for key matchups that happened during the week. Did the Lakers play the Cavs? Have highlights showing Kobe and Lebron going head to head. Steph Curry go crazy in a game on Friday and hit 10 3's? Show highlight of him draining tons of shots from long range against whoever the opponent was. What would be amazing is to have live cut-ins during this weekly wrap up show to games that are in progress. Just throw us into a broadcast cam of a CPU v CPU matchup for 30 seconds or so while the studio guys make general statements about the matchup. That would be huge!



2) Deep player progression/regression system

-Find a good balance between progression based on ratings/game stats/user input. The user input part could come from drills.Come up with some fun mini games that help you with gameplay mechanics and then have those mini-games be available throughout the year from time to time to help progress our players. Have more drills available during the offseason

3) Interactive scouting

- One of the older Lives had this, but be able to take potential rookies into a practice gym and let us play with them. let us run them in 1v1 2v2 or 3v3 quick scrimmages with/against players on our team.

-Have scouting be based more on feel than numbers. We shouldnt have any ratings revealed to us, just general letter grades whose accuracy is based upon how good our scouts are. Makes scouting more fun when you are never quite sure what you are getting.

4) Deep stat tracking/history of team

-Have franchise stats that include the whole franchise's history, even before we started our franchise. For instance, if I'm the Bulls, I should be able to quickly find my teams all-time scoring list and see MJ at the top and my current players wherever they fall in line at. These stats should roll forward no matter how many years I play

- Some type of trophy room that shows all of the franchise accomplishments, how many titles they've won, MVPs, DPOYs, Hall of Famers, Conference/Div. crowns etc. Would be nice if there were actual trophies we could look at as well instead of just having text

1/I Loved the practice Facility in Live10, gives a immersed feel to the experience of running a team.

2/ Smart trades/signings... this is a hard one because its all about point of view, better options to turn off signings and trades

3/ Draft class! the ability to create your own draft classes would be huge (and the ability to share them)

have a espn top ten plays of the week...

bring a practice mode back ala the academy mode live 10 had but deeper...

a connected career mode would do live justice....

a summer league could help when scouting prospects but you can actually play...

player progression could be deeper if players get older they should lose athleticism ...
