Any official response to the fallout?
Just wondering if anyone has heard or got any sources on any official response from the EA team behind the game to the heavily negative criticism the early access is receiving? And also any reasons why the game is shipping the way it is on both generations. We are the music makers...Tags: None -
Re: Any official response to the fallout?
They certainly are not going to say anything before the official release.
No reason for them to put that out there and turn off the potential customers and lose sales before they have to.
I honestly doubt we ever hear anything from them other than they ran out of time and the same old blah blah blah. And honestly an apology wouldn't mean much at this point to me, I just want results. Fix the damn game and put everything back in it and improve those things as well, oh and add the stuff that we have never had because they are too incompetent to pull those things off. That is what I want!Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
Everyone who bought it will probably get 2 free gold untradable hut packs or something worthless like that and next year when they are behind the 8 ball, they can sell a buggy game with more modes and say they listened to the "fans"Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
It's starting to gain some attention. Hopefully it gets us answers before wasting our money.
First big Gaming news ( Gamespot and Kotaku ) to talk about NHL 15 trouble! The LA King's success if mostly due to Jonathan Quick. All credit for Quick goes to Bill Ranford. You're welcome LA.

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
Yeah thankfully articles are coming out online already, there's probably 10 articles ripping this game to shreds. I've been staying active on the EA Sports NHL facebook page too, alerting people of what isn't in the game and how the 360/ps3 version is a copy/paste job. It's amazing how many people I've informed who had no idea otherwise. It's starting to gain some attention. Hopefully it gets us answers before wasting our money.

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
Well after the initial silence and lack of sales Im sure EA will then try BS everyone through promised patches that will not come or just be bug ridden or bare bones .Finally Roster share in NHL 22 ! Dreams do come true ! To Garryowen and Glory boys !Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
I agree, I don't count on them to deliver anything post-release for the simple fact that they aren't obligated to do so. Like you said, if they do ending up doing something like that, it would probably just make the game worse with more bugs.Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
In Gamespot write-up, they posted that OS reveal the true face (missing features and modes) of NHL 15.....IM PROUD TO BE AN OS
With so many missing, the only RAM could say is "new draft is coming as part of our content updates." I am highly skeptical with the silence and not being upfront about these issues.Last edited by canucksss; 09-06-2014, 04:05 PM.Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
Why aren't people blowing up Rammer on Twitter? I'm considering making a Twitter account to do so.
Full disclosure: I'm buying the game bc I am worried EA will cut the franchise if sales decline. Know a few finance folks connected at EA, not the most profitable unit.Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
If they cut the game, someone else will step up. I really doubt there wouldn't be an NHL game again.
EA's definitely not "too big to fail" and personally, i have no problem not supporting them. They have to earn my $60 back. I've purchased this game for the past 6 years straight, and after 3 years of getting more and more frustrated than the year before at the lack of important changes in what i was hoping for, i'm finally just not going to buy it. I'll miss hockey, but if i really get a craving, i can throw in NHL14. Doesn't look like i'll be missing much with that option anyhow.Comment

Re: Any official response to the fallout?
Colin Moriarty of IGN claims that he can't discuss the game because he is embargoed. I would imagine that, if true, this applies to many outlets.Comment
