All-Madden or All-Pro

I typically play on All-Madden but have read a few posts from people saying they are getting a more realistic game of football on All-Pro (with slider adjustments). Just wondering if there is a consensus on this and what setting everyone is getting the most REALISM from. I aim for realism and my games so some input from fellow sim-seekers would be more than welcomed.

i've heard all-pro is too easy....i'd just rock all-madden...most people don't like to play at the top levels cuz they might lose and put their fist or controller thru the TV

I'm not sure what this means, or why you'd contribute if you're not actually playing the game (it looks like you're not.) I play on All Pro with 8 min quarters and adjusted sliders, but Ive always played on All Pro so take it for what its worth. I cant speak for Madden Post-tune, but I can say that the only real difference from last gen to now is that every QB is Montana like Accurate, and the physics (or lack thereof) make running a little more difficult. I get realistic stats and snaps, realistic gameplay...haha. Theres a whole other thread for that.

I usually play on all madden also but I just don't like how every CPU tackle is a big hit and how their defenders seem to fly to the ball in the passing game even if they're on the other side of the field. I was winning on all madden but I just didn't like how i was winning. I feel like all pro with a good set of sliders will give you a good challenge without feeling cheated.

I was ALWAYS an all-madden guy but so far this year I haven't moved my sliders at all and I have left the difficulty on all-pro. The only thing I have touched is fatigue which ive have at 70 but now I have it at 65. Also all my auto assists are turned off. I try never to call the same play twice in a game and I use the proper formation on D to match up w/ the O. Ive gotten great games since EA early access all in play now mode.

Both play fine this year which is why you see a lot going AP that never did before because it was always entirely too easy. As long as you have a good slider set you can enjoy either setting, but AP will make you feel slightly less cheated than AM will. I've been using AP and getting really good results so haven't felt the need to bump it up yet.

All-Pro is (for me) the best way to go.

It's definitely more challenging this year.
